How Sonia had got it right and Advani got it wrong
The Karnataka assembly election outcome for the Bharatiya Janata Party would not have been so dismal had its leadership drawn a leaf from Congress president Sonia Gandhi's political acumen and persisted with its old war horses.
There are many political analysts who believe that if Yeddyurappa would have been in the Saffron line up, the report card would not have been so heavily tilted towards the congress. Being the tallest leader and architect of the party in this Southern state, his humiliation was a factor which sunk the BJP.
It is being said that in dispensing with Yeddyurappa, the BJP leadership paid a heavy price. Unlike Sonia Gandhi who decided to go ahead with Virbhadra Singh as her party's main mascot in Himachal Pradesh despite unsubstantiated corruption charges leveled against him by his adversaries, the BJP decided to sacrifice their strong man. The Congress president knew that the party had no chance without Virbhadra who is clearly the most popular leader in the hill state but also that charges against him were both baseless and handiwork of his rivals both inside and outside the party. She decided to gamble with him and the party reaped dividends and returned to power.
In Karnataka, veteran BJP leader LK Advani was keen from the very beginning to bring his protégé Ananth Kumar as the chief minister. Realising the caste factor would never allow this to happen, he tried his level best to dislodge Yeddyurappa. In fact, according to BJP insiders, Yeddyurappa was a victim of his own party's inner power politics rather than that of the Congress. He was replaced as the CM and made the president of the state party unit. Finally circumstances were created so that he went out and formed his own outfit. This self-destruction exercise, which is being described by BJP spokespersons as their commitment to combat corruption, has boomeranged on the Saffron Brigade.
The moral of the two recent elections where the BJP has been humbled is that while Sonia Gandhi got it right in Himachal and backed Virbhadra, Advani and company got it wrong when they threw out Yeddyurappa. Secondly like in Himachal, the Narendra Modi factor did not work in Karnataka either. However, the consolation for the BJP is that if one goes by recent history, whoever wins Karnataka never forms the government in New Delhi. So there is still hope.

Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad & now Bangalore in Congress hands. BJP only controls 1 of India's top 7 cities: Ahmedabad.

Rahul Gandhi konsa self-claimed PM candidate hai? So far he has denied it. Neither is he the only hope that people of India and Jatland have that we have expectations from him.
Modi campaigned twice outside Gujarat in state elections and both the places he failed. He did not campaign in Bihar, alliance won... Rahul still has a mixed bag of record.

Now you are going with the flow, hope of 10 odd people is not the hope of JL or for that matter whole of India however if you take it that way let it be. You could say Modi as self proclaimed PM but me yet to hear where he claimed that he wants to a PM or only hope. What about heir apparent and every other a cabinet minister askign him to be the PM, you forgot(heir) this term or was it a intentional miss? He knows that he does not have to call it out but when PM himself says that i'm ready to vacate the chair the day Rahulji takes over what does that mean? But this is not the topic of discussion

1) On Modi, let us not kid ourselves by saying he does not want to be the PM. Modi will be utter disappointed to read it, his millions of $ spent in PR yielding no results. For Congress, I am sure they will not announce Rahul as a PM candidate, if you were to believe the likes of Swamy then he is illegible to be the PM so discussion on that front is over thinking(by anti-congress peoples standards).
2) In UP Rahul actually got good number of assembly seats, failed in central election so mixed response. Bihar failed, Himachal succeeded so a mixed response. And you are unaware if you say he didnt go to Gujarat, read this
Now here is an interesting fact: Both Rahul and Modi chose stronghold areas to campaign, while congress performed better in those areas where Rahul visited BJP declined in Karnataka where Modi visited. Food for thought.
Mood of public is anti incumbency. So far only exception to the rule is Gujarat! In MP, BJP might have trouble. In Rajasthan, BJP might have chances and in Chhattisgarh congress might have chances. But real test for Modi will be in Hindi speaking states.

Kyunki logon ke pass koi bhi alternative nahi hai. Koi bhi aisi party nahi hai jo honest ho, jo desh ko corruption se mukti dila sake. Ek baar BJP, ek baar congress, fir agli baar BJP. Ye tamasha kab tak chalega. Log thak Gaye hain. Har baar gussa ho kar ek party ko haraate hain, par jo party jeet kar aati hai, woh aur zyada bhrasht hoti hai.
Delhi ke elections mein pehli baar logon ko ek honest alternative milega - AAm Aadmi Party. Tab shuru hoga desh ki rajneeti badalne ka silsila.
Aam Aadmi party koi party nahi hai. Ye azadi ki doosri ladai hai. Desh ko bhrashtachar mukt karne ki ladai.

कर्नाटका के चुनाव से कुछ निष्कर्ष :-
१- राज्यों के चुनाव में देश व्यापी भ्रष्टाचार का कोई प्रभाव नहीं होता है।
२- यदि आप कितने भी निष्ठावान (honest) हों परन्तु आप में एकता ना हो तो आप को पराजित होना ही होगा।
३- जातिवाद ,धर्म को जो जितना भुना लेगा वो उतना ही लाभ में होगा।
४- मित्र कितना भी कमीना हो, उसको नहीं छोड़ना चाहिए अपितु दूसरे कमीने व्यक्तियों को भी अपना मित्र बनाना आवश्यक है।
५- यदि आप में एकता है -फिर आप चाहे कितने ही बड़े गुंडे हों, भ्रष्टाचारी हों -इसका कोई अंतर नहीं पड़ता है।
हिमाचल में कांग्रेस के वीर भद्र सिंह पर भ्रष्टाचार के तमाम आरोप होने के पश्चात भी कांग्रेस ने उसको मुख्यमंत्री बना दिया चुनाव जीतने के लिये और कर्नाटक में भाजपा ने पराजय को गले लगा लिया किन्तु लोकप्रिय नेता येदुरप्पा द्वारा किये गये भ्रष्टाचार से समझौता नहीं किया। इस से क्या परिणाम निकलता है? यही ना कि देश की जनता पूर्ण रूप से अपरिपक्व बुद्धि वाली है। अब यदि रिटायर्ड जज काटजू कहता है कि भारत की 90% जनता मूर्ख है तो हम उसे लानत मलानत करते हैं। वैसे कर्नाटक के परिणामों ने यह संदेश दिया कि "अच्छाई पर बुराई की जीत।"
कर्नाटक चुनाव के विश्लेषण :-

१. ये कहना कि भाजपा के भ्रष्टाचार से त्रस्त आकर मतदाताओं ने कांग्रेस को चुन लिया, एकदम बकवास है क्योंकि जिस मतदाता में इतनी अक्ल होगी वो भाजपा और कांग्रेस का अंतर भी समझता होगा।
२. ये कहना कि भाजपा के खराब शासन के कारण मतदाताओं ने भाजपा को हराया, ये भी तथ्यों से सिद्ध नहीं होता। नंबर कहते हैं कि भाजपा और कांग्रेस के मध्य के वोट प्रतिशत का पूरा अंतर येदुरप्पा ने खाया है, जिससे तो ये सिद्ध हुआ कि जनता ने जिस व्यक्ति का बुरा शासन था उसी को वोट कर दिया ?
३. तथ्य नंबर २ के हिसाब से यदि भाजपा और येदुरप्पा साथ होते तो अथाह भ्रष्टाचार और खराब शासन के पश्चात भी भाजपा ही जीतती।
४. तथ्य नंबर २ से ही ये सिद्ध भी हो गया कि कर्नाटक की जनता भीषण जातिवाद से ग्रसित दिखाई देती है , जिसके आगे सारे मुद्दे गौण हो जाते हैं।

कर्नाटक की जनता ने गौ माता की ह्त्या को स्वीकृती दे ही दी !!
साथ ही भाजपा ने भी आत्मदाह कर लिया !!और कांग्रेस बहुमत पर जीत रही है !!
ध्यान रहे कि कर्नाटक में कांग्रेस ने गौ ह्त्या के लिए क़त्ल खाने खुलवाने का चुनावी वादा किया था।
Modi compaigned for 4 seats in karnataka, out of which 2 are won and BJP lost 2. Where he compaigned the voting ratio for BJP has increased.
Sonia compaigned for 3 seats, all 3 are lost by Congress.
Two major factors were there
1) Anti incumbancy
2) Exit of yedurappa
No magic is done by Rahul or any other congress leader.
