Division of utterpradesh

Blah, Blah, Blah.

Things are simple:

1. Local people know their needs, know their land, know their water and know their roads.
2. What they do not know is how much money was generated through local revenue sources and where did it all go? Who was responsible for the money?, What all projects were allocated money, who were the people responsible/accountable for this money, how was this money utilized, how was this money used in the project? Where did the money go?
3.Lack of education, lack of transparency in records, hi-jack of the local system of information related with money utilization and records, lead to channeling of money in wrong hands of politicians, government officers and persons responsible for these projects.
4. The main point is all the money that is being generated is being generated due to land development and tax payers money. How long will this corruption continue?
5. The same farmers and the tax payers, who are paying the money and selling their land to to the government and land developers will use the same public facilities such as roads, drinking water, public schools for their children, etc. These will facilities will not be upto standards and the same people who sold their land to the government, paid taxes to the government will suffer. Their children and families will not get quality education, medical facilites, public convenience facilities.
6. In the end it is the public who has to suffer not the politicians or bureaucrats.
7. Politicians and corrupt bureaucrats money will be safe in foreign accounts which can never be accessed by local law agencies or even nationalized law agencies.
8. Corrupt politicians and their parties are spreading their net through out country.
9. Utter Pradesh is one of the worst case in entire nation.

A slight correction :

4. The main point is all the money that is being generated is being generated due to land development and tax payers money. How long will this corruption continue?

Corrected:

4. The main point is all the money that is being generated is being generated due is due to land development and tax payers money. The corrupt governments are doing their most to exploit the local people their resources and money.

Western UP contributes to a large chunk - nearly 72% - of the state's total income. In turn, what western UP gets is not enough. Just 18% of the state's budget is spent on developing west UP

You are right. The main point is: Most of the population of state see small times goals (they will do anything to fulfill their small time goals, voters will even vote for a murderer and a dacoit, if he fulfills their small times needs). The voting population does not see long term sustainability. This has let to the present situation in most parts of utter pradesh.

A simple example is small farmers near the cities selling their land to small time builders. What happens next is uncontrollable. The small time builders sell land for residential/commercial/industrial purposes. There is no planning, the roads are cramped, there is no sewer treatment, there is no ban on setting up polluting industries in such area. In the end everyone suffers, the farmer soon runs out of money that he got by selling his land, the area developed on his land is unmanageable, with lot of pollution and bad infrastructure.

This is one such incident, every city in the state is going through such ordeal in one form or another, in one way or other just because we have wrong people sitting in wrong positions at right time.

If it is so, it tantamounts to discrimination.

Are these vague ideas or there is some statistical data available on this aspect.

If it is, then kindly share.

Yes, You are right, I am from Delhi village Mundka and we have suffered a lot, a separate state will boost the business prospects of the community and share in Jobs ( both Pvt & Govt ) . If separate state is not created than in next 5 years your identity will be lost. There is nothing wrong in creating separate states when the culture difference is too high, example Haryana was created and after that it increased the prospects of people living in Haryana. It is also TRUE that UP is totally ruled by Persons from East UP. Most of the persons from east UP are litertate THUG. To get rid from those THUG a sparate STATE is required ASAP.

There are two major parties in Utter Pradesh and both of them want to be national parties. Both of these parties are led by people who with their party members are draining monetary and other resources out of Utter Pradesh. Everyone knows who they are, everyone know who their supporters are and how in the past these parties have looted the state.

With new development happening, there will be a lot of money coming from various sources for state development these sources will be from national and international level sources like world back etc. Again the same process will take place, common people will be deprived of quality service, paper work will be done with showing large amounts of sum spend on development and in the end all the money that would have been invested will go waste.

It is pathetic, Western Utter Pradesh is right next to national capital Delhi, and we know how poor and bad development is there in this area.

There seems to be truth in it, i once read before India opened its economy, per capita income of Western Utterpradesh was Highest in the country.

The main point is all the governments who come into power in Utter Pradesh come due to the voting power of village people. Village people are so much disillusioned due to the changing economic sceranrio that they tend to forget what their actual work i.e. farming is. They tend to run after small time interest of selling their land to get small time money. This in turn make these farmers poor in long run as they are not able to do their work i.e. farming.
Now look at the governments, recently lot of laptops were distributed by the ruling party of Utter Pradesh. It was the work of utterly stupid people. From where did the government get the money to buy these laptops? naturally from tax paying people, land revenues and other government funds, basically this money belonged to people. Now comes to part, how these laptops can be used... I have to say, to access information or resources using laptops, one needs good internet connection and if u go 25 kilometers away from Delhi towards utter pradesh the internet is either non existing or is has a pathetic speed. Now what will these laptops be used for???? This is an infrastructural problem.

This is something like,,,,giving a car to people,,,where no roads exist.

So the government of utter pradesh are fooling their people, it does not matter which party it is. The main point is these parties en-cash emotions and votes of masses who live in an uneducated, uninformative world. In the end these are the people who suffer the most in one form or the other.

We have seen these state governments for last two decades and nothing has changed. Only way out of this circle of cheaters and looters is to change the boundaries of the state and bring new government. New government should be made of people who are educated, come from farming and defense based communities. Otherwise law and order of the state will go worst and bad political parties and political families will drain every resource out of Utter Pradesh.

What changes in political governance do you expect after the dream project of division of Uttar Pradesh as visualised in the discussion under thread comes into existence and would it be better alternate to the presently prevalent system or not?

Local leaders are in minority and more- are of no good.

Just a small question, after division of state will they(local leaders) come from top or from the same area? Another things, if people are really interested then why they are not raising this issue in front of leaders with the one that we have( Ajit or Jayant) or do you think they can not raise the voice of people in parliament specially when they are also in UPA?

They will raise it when they feel they can get maximum political mileage

Lack of leadership. Jats in West UP have been looking for a strong leader for long.

"Looking for a strong Leader": This sounds and smells like "IDOL WORSHIP".

Which has happened throughout ages in north west of India "Warriors fought the battles, got killed and rest of the communities were busy sitting in front of statues hoping something miraculous will happen".

Look how political parties are operating today at Utter Pradesh. Their main tool is networking, do u think the leaders who are heading the major political parties today are strong leader. Believe me, they are hollow from inside, only thing they have been able to do is networking, connecting, encashing on communal sentiments and take the leadership of the state when no one is able to take the charge.

Tell me one thing, Jats defend the Indian borders, feed the country through agriculture, they go for police and other administrative services but why are they not able to lead a state like Utter Pradesh or form a new state. This means there is something "Jats" are lacking.
We have to introspect, what are our weaknesses and why people who are corrupt able to lead a state.
Believe me, the day we do that lot of good leaders will rise among our community.
When a community is ready to die for a piece of land which may not even belong to that soldier from the community, then how is it possible we can not have good, decent and honest leaders from our community.

But we should be careful, that we are not used by the system and we are able to obtain goals which are good for everyone living in the state.

The change must come from the masses and each individual should feel accountable for that change.

Does this question need an answer?

What do u want? One person should rise and to prove himself for that he should get sacrificed in the name of his people and nation or there is need for everyone of us to realize what and how our work should be, so that we can make things happen and make a better state out of present state?

This is not work of one person, it is cooperative work of all "Jats" and other fellow communities living in the state.

Par bhai chaudhary charan singh ke baad aisa kounsa aadmi hua hai jo jato ko sath le ke chala ho?
