BJP was ruling those states and performed bad there and lost the elections people vote for congress as an option and in center the congress govt is performing bad so guess the out come Congress will loos the elections badly as BJP lost in Himachal and Karnatka ...... some times you want to get rid of ruling party due to its bad performance ... Its always leader who galvanized the masses and for BJP Modi is doing it and doing very well :)

If that is the rational than Election in India is never presidential and BJP lost in spite of Modi's campaign in those states.. so the point that INDIA wants to be a PM stands shallow

If that is your stand let me tell you what statistics suggest that the party which wins Karnataka elections always lose general election

Vikas, abhi in 4 raajyo mein hone waale chunaav ke baare mein aap ko kya lagta hai..... MP , Chhatisgarh, Delhi aur Rajasthan.
In mein se kis kis state mein Congress ki sarkaar banegi ?

By Vikas logic BJP lost in HP & Karnataka so he told there was no MODI wave agar BJP MP, CH, DELHI or RAJASTHAN me jeet jaati hai to desi kahega MODI wave aa gayi hai ?

Most certainly Delhi. Chattisgarh and MP will remain with BJP but do not credit that to Modi but their own CMs who have done a better job without any PR campaigns... and Rajasthan in all probability will go to BJP but that is because of anti incumbency.

badhiya hai....
agar BJP aa gayi to due to state leadership err nahi aayi to Modi failed...
typical congressi logic...
Hindustan mein 1885 ke baad jitane achche kaam huye saare Nehru-Ghandi khandan ki den aur kuch galat ho gaya to jimmedar bahut log hain.. naam ke lena

Delhi is not with BJP now..... And I dont think that BJP will get a clear majority there ( my opinion).
Chhatisgarh and MP are doing good under their current leaders - I agree with you. Baaki, Rajasthan mein anti-incumbency kyu hui - any idea? What went wrong there - state leadership OR corruption or something else ( may be VHP RSS BJP ka haath ho) ? :livid:

And Delhi mein bhi, is it anti incumbency or something else?

8 holes CAG picked in Narendra Modi’s Gujarat development p8 holes CAG picked in Narendra Modi’s Gujarat development

AHMEDABAD: At a time when Narendra Modi's development model is under national spotlight, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has criticized his government in Gujarat for imprudent fiscal management.

It has underlined a need for greater professionalism and accountability in the functioning of the government and asked it to be more alert and responsive.

Poor debt management

The national auditor has said the state government has incurred 41% higher debt than the previous fiscal and burdened the exchequer with heavy interest liability at a higher rate.

The state government had taken a loan of Rs 15,083 crore to adjust the monetary deficit of Rs 11,027 crore, leaving a balance of Rs 3,645 crore, which is poor debt management, said CAG.

Average return on investments

It has invested Rs 39,179 crore in corporations, boards, government companies, rural banks and joint ventures. In the last five years, the average return on this investment was 0.25% while the state government has paid interest at the rate of 7.75%.

Utilization certificate

The CAG report, which is likely to be tabled in the ongoing session of the state assembly, also criticized the government for not furnishing utilization certificate of Rs 9,066.34 crore.

On education and health

The CAG has also observed that compared to other states, Gujarat traditionally spends less on education and health.

On computer literacy and education

CAG has also ridiculed the government on computer literacy and education — Rs 292 crore was allocated but only Rs 88.24 crore was used. Similarly, for special courts, Rs 629 crore was granted, but only Rs 252.45 crore was used.

Wide variation under every major head of account

In the roads and buildings department, Rs 957.95 crore was allocated for constructing offices, but not even half the amount was spent for various reasons. Sighting many such examples, CAG has observed that there is wide variation, practically under every major head of account.

Finance and public sectors least efficient

Although the entire state government has been criticized, the finance and public sectors have been shown as least efficient. For example, savings under each major heads clearly suggest non-performance of government departments, for which no reasons have been given.

Ok...... ! Good feedback by CAG......and BJP Govt in Gujrat must look into it honestly if some action needed.

But has the CAG mentioned anything about corruption in Gujrat, like it mentioned Coalgate / Railways /Commanwealth etc for the COngress govt?

I hope you will keep keep twisting your own logic to oppose Modi anyhow , You are ready to demean urself.

If BJP lost in Karnataka & HP , it's not Dhumal or Yedurappa failure but its Modi's ?

If BJP wins in Delhi,Chattisgarh & MP the credit goes to Raman Singh, Shivraj or other local leaders not MODI ?

You are in contradiction with your own logic first debate with urself and decide what you want to say , don't do Dogvijay in every post.

The third important question is

Rajashthan BJP is winning because of anti-incumbency not other factor then was their any anti incumbency in Gujrat , Punjab , Chattisgarh , MP ?

Now I would say that you have even surpassed the wisdom of Congress designated spokespersons.

This is what happens when one starts defending the wrong people. "Kutark" starts dominating everything else.

And a "thatera from Muradabad" has become the most powerful small farmer, courtesy congress.

Not very glued to Rajasthan but from what I can read the government did nothing extra-ordinary there and thus shift of power, which is a norm for the state.

Delhi has a bit of anti-incumbency but BJPs lack of leadership but the current dogfight between Harshvardhan and Vijay goel followed by the impact of AAP will make up for it.

The only problem is your one sided Modi bashing ..... bash congress with same intensity for their failures instead of defending them .... for same reasons you are bashing Modi and defending Congress

Just like 1984 does not justify 2002, Vadra does not justify Modi's crony capitalism and his benefits to Adani, and others.

why do you see that way? I bash those who praise Modi one sided, and only on issues they go wrong or spread a lie or ignore Modi being culprit of the same.

If they say anything thats gone wrong in Congress and is true, I agree with it.
