Desi bhai ye responsiblity waise present govt ki hai agar kuch galat hua hai to UPA ke pass full authority hai.. Par wo khud itne aache hai ke poocho maat... recently suna tha ke ISI ke pass indian black money holders ki saari details hai.. yakin nahi hua par pakistan ke liye current strategy dekh kar lagta hai ye sach hai tabhi to strong action sirf news mein hi aata hai reality mein nahi... china aur pak se sare trade band kar do... kya itne gaye guzre hai hum ke inke trade ke bina hamara kaam nahi chalega,... kam se kam main to nahi manta jo resources hamare pass hai aur jo manpower hai usko dekh kar... agar unka utilization nahi ho paa raha hai to present govt ki responsibility banti hai....

Bhai, sorry to barge into your discussion with some other dude. FYI, just recently Swiss Banks ended their secracy. Besides, since last few years they already had a bilateral info-sharing arrangement with the GOT (govt of India) to provide the account details ONLY of those people whose list GOI provided to the Swiss Govt. Last year there was hungama in the parliament to make the list public and someone had even filed the PIL and UPA govt submitted tot he court that it can not disclose the info in the public domain (like RTI) as it violates privacy of individuals, so some such rubbish rule. If I recall, some had leaked the list of accounts and the amount, it contained Ambani, and politicans/relatives of both NDA and UPA, etc. Sab sale chor hain.

Bhai I read about it and if govt of India gets the details, which they MUST, they can be extracted via a RTI.

information is already with GOI,Pranab Mukherjee himself in parliament gave the reason of agreement that such info will not be shared in public .......govt already have info of about 1600 indivisuals only question is what have they done with it..
ram jeth malani openly said that gandhi family has name in that list no body even uttered the word.......what bout you desi ji ..what do you think about your 45 year old young leader

india is largest arm importer in the world it can use this as its leverage but problem is....heavy cuts that politicians have already swindled......
you all must have observed Brazil stand on NSA taping...and just see pusillanimity of indian govt ...it is only matter of will power
total trade of china-india is around $70 billion which is highly skewed in china`s favour.....we can definably think over it..china has more to loose since it relations with JAPAN its biggest bilateral business partner are already messy.......
with pakistan..we can use water diplomacy..if pakistan doesn`t thinks before killiing indians why should we behave in gentlemen way....papi ke saath papi jaisa bartav akrna chiye.........
only question is political will power.....but in election year with prime motive to somehow coming back to power ????any one can guess what indian govt can do???
indian govt is not even considering taking serious steps when our jawans are being killed each day in pak firing .......again appeasement politics govt doesn`t want to make Muslims annoyed by taking serious steps against pakis....even former army personell have said the same thing on TV show...........

Re: water diplomacy and other stuff are not as simplistic, India is a signatory to many UN and multi-lateral international treaties including the one that says bi-lateral water treaties must be respected or else they can be brought to the UN and the international community can take actions including sanctions, etc. Do not forget the source of some of the rivers that flow through India is in Pakistan and India is the primary user of the water from those rivers. I.e. Pakistan too can play the same game.
Other side of the coin of stopping imports from China would be is to import of locally produce at the higher cost, i.e. higher inflation, which already is the problem. This can be resolved if Indian mfg sector improves its mfg techniques and produce mass products at cheaper cost n better quality and/or produce differentiated value-added niche goods.
