In the new arrival of books, Gandhi and Ali Brothers by Rakhahari Chatterji, the author has followed a descriptive method and has suggested Gandhi's approach to Hindu-Muslim unity question during the 1920's could be understood from the communitarian perspective.
The book's narrative and its milieu are competently reconstructed from ample collection of books, letters and papers, and from stories of informants.

The concluding remarks by the author on the friendship of Gandhi and Ali Brothers are:"From an apostle of Hindu-Muslim unity and second only to Allah, Gandhi [latter on] became to his [Mohammed Ali's ] eyes the one who wanted to hold the entire Muslim community in India in slavery to Hindus". It is disturbing and a pathetic admission of the Ali Brothers' failure.

Sir please suggest me a good book on Indian Revolutionaries....

Hi Prateek,
There is a book 'Singhavlokan' written by the freedom fighter Yashpal, who was the member of Hindustan Socialist Republican Association. This book gives good amount of information about Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Azad and other revolutionaries who were part of this association. It's very informative and interesting read.

I have found 'Without Fear: The life and Trial of Bhagat Singh' by Kuldeep Nayar a good read.

Thank You Ma'am

A great book which is about the tug of war between the author's passion for his wife, and his duty to the Army. The rigors of Army life are juxtaposed against the comforts of home life. The common thread that weaves through the book is the author's absolute love and devotion to his wife. The style of writing is crisp and interesting throughout. All in all, a worthwhile reading experience.
