How is he proved to be a macho man by doing what he did? Of course his stage was sniffed well, he has NSG cover, of course he would not have been killed if a Stampede occured, where did he RISK HIS LIFE? Let us stop making him a macho man when all he did was play politics risking others lives.
He would have been a brave man if he went in public to re-instigate faith in spite of terror threat, like Rajiv Gandhi did. (although it is equally stupid)

All am saying is, if I were Modi I would not have conducted the rally and asked people to go home for safety purposes. But for Modi and BJP it would mean a loss of 10 crore Rs. so they chose to carry on.
And also if it were Rahul instead of Modi you would have agreed with me too calling him insensitive and not caring for people's lives, right?
A crowd of lacs can lead to stampede if asked to leave in frenzy. Apply some common sense. And Rahul Gandhi is too young to take such a mature call.

Some nice comments with merit by various friends here, I agree MODI did the right thing to control the crowd despite risk to his safety and saved many lives by pacifying the crowd e.g. no stampede and riots (crowd's violent reaction), had he been irresponsible like sehzada pappu or if he had foot-in-mouth disease like PigVijay or Tinde, he would have made some idiotic comments to rile the crowd up. mature decisive leadership

Seems you are unhappy about the happy end of his rally. Stampede hoti, Modi ka nam lete, communal hai hue n cry hoti.
