कल (१२. ०२. २०१४) फिर केरल की विधान सभा में एक बिल पास हुआ. जिसके अनुसार यदि मुस्लिम लड़का हिन्दू लड़की को मुस्लिम बनाता है तो ये क़ानूनी अपराध नही होगा।

I guess this is reference to matrimonial relations .
I m curious ( not much aware of religion or legit stuff ) ........pehle bhi yeh kanooni apradh nahi tha ......so ab kya special kiya hai ( why they wasted time ) ........ Society we live in gals change their name / religion as per spouse name / religion

Right- this was never against the law and anything posted without a proof on Jatland should never be trusted.
I seriously dont understand why moderators do not take any action against such blatant lies which are harmful for the society on large

The fact of the matter is in the root; Hindu marriage Act 1955 (pet project of Ambedker jee)
MP's at that time used to be honest and debated on why we should not have an Indian Marriage Act instead. However that idea was vetoed by Mr. Nehru and Mr. Ambedkar and later another congress man accepted Sharia law for muslims. Clear violation of constitution as discrimination on marriage. Why it was done everyone can introspect now.

I believe onus is on our elders. I am not sure how many of us give good teachings to their kids from Geeta and Vedas. In fact educated from western countries are more inclined to learn from those books rather Indians. On the other hand wrong propagation and money flown in by Christian and Muslims are changing the demography of India. In last 200 years we have seen Kashmir, recent history points to Assam and Tripura and next in line is Kerala, UttarPradesh and Bihar.

It has happened since ancient ages: suppress the weaker lot.
The govt. has since independence suppressed the Hindus, though a few good things have also come out of the churning like rights of women in parental/husband's estate, monogamy etc. If these are good things, why are the same not being translated and transposed in other religion personal laws in India? Whether we like it or not, this subservient nature has percolated in the genes of we Hindus. Before caring for the interest of our community, we first consider whether whatever we do or think is politically correct or not, what would the other communities think or feel etc. Over the centuries and decades we have become apologetic for being Hindus instead of taking pride in one of the richest and oldest yet shrinking religions. We take pride in speaking chaste urdu. The moment anyone speaks chaste Hindi we look upon that person with veiled disdain and mocking amusement.
Though in majority, Hindus are being kicked around like a football in their own country, be it Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, W.UP, Mumbai, Kerala, Karnataka, AP, etc. Despite still being in majority (though not for long), they are fearful of a forbiddingly painful response from the other community. Despite the highhanded behaviour of the so-called minority in a riot like situation, the media and vote bank hungry politicians (Congress, Chappu (SP), Pappu (BSP) and Dhappu (JD(U)) will squarely blame the Hindus for it.
Our great PM says that Muslims are first among equals. He forgets that in a democracy there is only equals and NO FIRST, SECOND OR LAST. If the Congress is so hell bent on promoting muslims why don't Madam, Raul Baba actually step down from cushy chairs and hand over the reins to Muslims in their party and govt? Is it sufficient to just fill your worker and spokesperson positions with Muslims and show your muslim face? Why don't they bring the stolen national wealth in Swiss bank accounts and give to the muslims? Or still better, why don't they declare India to be an Islamic Republic in one go instead of systematically turning it into an Islamic Caliphate over a period of time as they are doing it right now?
Also, the same question goes to all those self appointed pseudo intellectuals (having allegiance to the Congress party) who give communal/secular certificates to others - Why don't they donate their wealth to Muslims, why don't they give up their jobs to the more needy Muslims? Who are they to donate national wealth and resources to one particular community when they don't have the right to do so? Of course, they have the right to donate their wealth, their jobs, salary, savings to the Muslims and they should actually donate it. BUT THEN THEY ARE PSEUDO- SECULAR. THEY ONLY KNOW HOW TO TOM TOM THE IDEA OF THEIR POLITICAL MASTERS WITH FINESSE.
History and future generations will not forgive us if we still vote for this communal, criminal and corrupt Congress, no matter how closely related we are to a Congressman/woman. We need to rise above our short term personal petty interests and weed out this gargantuan weed which has deep roots and which is choking the Indian nation and democracy.

Secondaly, I agree with you Congress being dividing the people and all corrupt things but tons of brightness promised by Modi. How come is he silent over Hindu and related things after being declared as PM candidate? Don't you find that Pseudo-Hinduist ?

We must agree to the fact it was/is congress who is dividing us on religous grounds. BJP is no good, but in the end we need to support one.

I am a voter and I would like to be convinced. That convincing can not be expedient by talking larger than life stuff. If the alternative is not that good then NOTA option is coming in EVM.

. Coming to your point I agree we have expectations as a voter, but again voting for no one may brigten chances for a wrong candidate which again is not good. I see its about voting for a person who is less bad, as ideal candidates are far from reality.samarkadian

Prikshit bhai - Lets all believe Modi is taint free and a fair, progressive leader. But is he above his party? Except perhaps dynastic politics at the national level, BJP is the same as Congress. Corruption, crony capitalism, vote bank politics etc; there is no difference between the two.
Is he bigger than his party? So big that he can make a corrupt party and country clean by his efforts? How much can he control specially when in his own state there are ample examples of corruption?
Its too much to expect and believe in one man, especially one like Modi. He should first start with rectifying the bad elements in his own state and party before talking about the country.

I never gave clean chit to BJP. He is not bigger than the party but his works are. You always talk of ideal scenario, which is again far from reality. Change is a gradual process, give him a chance we have tried and tested others for 60 years. Per me their is no harm in giving him a chance this time.
I can see people coining the new term Pseudo-Hindus & I echo with them. This is best definition of many so called educated literate Hindus on Jatland or elsewhere.
Now, is BJP Pseudo-secular or Pseudo-Hindu? This can be best explained by seeing BJP ruled states & their history. Watch for the policies & administration if they disrespect feelings of majority for appeasement of minority.

Fair enough. I see your point. I think you accord a greater importance to the individual, whereas I to the party.
Its naive to think the two mainstream political parties follows or typecast to any one terminology for any length of time or place. They change sides and colors as per the situation and votebank.
A Congress can seem like minority appeasing but Rajiv Gandhi started his 1988 campaign from Ayodhya with a cry for Ram temple. BJP and RSS can be termed anti-minority but many RSS folks actually helped Sikhs in 1984 riots. On the other hand some local Congress party workers also rioted against Muslims during Gujarat 2002. At the same time a supposedly nationalistic party like BJP made no efforts to implement the UCC or make an SIT for 1984 riots. There are hundreds of such examples of how both parties have made fools of everyone and ensured their survival by adapting to situation and votebank at whatever cost to the the nation.
And btw, appeasement happens for both majority and minority.

The idea against IMA was because India was formed a secular country. Muslims in free India had a choice to live the they want to live, their faiths kept high and I do not see anything wrong in it. The only people who were promoting IMA were sanghis, or Jan Sangh people who were in minority and parliament takes decisions not Nehru or Ambedkar. Even today one person can not veto a decision
