There is no doubt that under present conditions in India and outside, we need a strong PM like Modi. However, lately I am a bit worried about BJP winning even simple majority as internal divisions in the party are coming in open. I expect a major power struggle in BJP after the elections. Let us hope for the best.

I hope you have the same wishful thinking for Rahul Gandhi. Everyone would be happy if Rahul/Sonia Gandhi fight an election from any of the seats against Modi. Any so called secular actually.
Rahul or Sonia have not changed their seats, if Modi had gutts of his wave then he should have filled up from Amethi or Rae Bareli like Kumar Vishwash

modi is son of soil..he has proved himself in last 10 years....May be modi has many shortcomings but there is no better man than modi to lead this country at this stage...and if this pichdaa and chaiwala becomes a PM he will destroy these aplu-paplu leader and india will emerge as a very strong country..please look around what you have in comparison of modi..raul baba, mulayam singh, paltu kejriwal..madam sonia..vote for a pichdaa and help this country to get rid of this blood-sucking gandhi dynasty

Yes, Modi is very much son of soil of Varanasi.
And how has he proved himself, again? There are multiple examples of how his hoopla about Gujarat has been busted in this thread itself. He appeals to those who like hero worship rather than facts. Others aren't good, but he is no better.
