Whom to Vote in Haryana Assembly Elections, 2014

I opt for voting the party, for, it would stand in good stead for the Jat Community

Your assessment may be right but it is a bit early to say so.

About the projected number of seats for any party, calculations could be made only after the final battle lines of the parties in electoral arena are known.

Only the Congress and INLD have declared that they are going to contest all 90 seats.

So far ambiguity about the relations of BJP with HJC remains.

Then B S P, AAP, SP, J D U etc. and a few newly floated parties have also come in open to contest.

Be what it may, it would be a hotly contested keenly fought battle of ballot in Haryana this time !!!!

For making preparations to contest forthcoming Haryana Assembly elections and to take stock of the Party in Haryana, Yogendra Yadava held a meeting of the AAP at Hisar yesterday.

But he did not divulge the actual programme or strategy of the AAP as of now.

In the last Assembly elections INLD had won 31 and its ally SAD one seat in Haryana.

Kuldeep Bisnoi and his elder brother have squarely blamed BJP of sabotaging HJC and held them responsible for the defeat of HJC candidates.

Interestingly, the HJC has blamed CM Haryana too for the Defeat of Kuldeep Bishnoi !!
 
Shri Shamsher Singh Kharkara from Meham chaubisi, who after his defeat in Rohtak Parliamentary constitutency as INLD candidate for 16th Lok Sabha held recently and was shown the way out of the Party, joined B J P today.
 
Haryana State BJP leaders have also reported to the Party High Command to terminate the BJP-HJC alliance.

This means the forthcoming Vidhan sabha elections are going to be contested independently by BJP, Congress, INLD, HJC, BSP, and other political parties. Several aspirant candidates would get chance to face the electorate on party tickets and turn coats will also get a chance to get nomination from the political parties.
 
Birendra Singh stated at Jind yesterday that he would not contest Haryana Assembly election under the banner of the Congress if Hooda is not removed from the post of CM with some effective leader. He also admitted that he had met Rajnath Singh in his office.

On the other hand CM BS Hooda says that he enjoys the confidence of the high command and the MLAs and would continue on his present post and also lead the party during the ensuing elections.

The state BJP in its State Executive Meeting has decided to start a massive programme to garner support of the people in Haryana by organising public rallies in all the 90 Constituencies to be addressed by Haryana Central Ministers and the Prime Minister between 25th June, 2014 to 31st July, 2014. However the final call on BJP-HJC alliance was not revealed on the occasion.

Why it seems that Congress will not come to power in Haryana after the forthcoming state elections:

1. Lots of infighting among senior Congress politicians.
2. Lack of a strong and visionary leadership.
2. Anger among people that only certain regions in the state being developed and not others.
3. Wadra land deals as highlighted by the media.
4. Anti-incumbency against the present govt. which has been in power but nothing major/spectacular happened in terms of development of people. Licences are being distributed to builders in bulk but nothing for the existing colonies in terms of water, electricity, sewage, drainage, public transport, etc.
5. Corruption though a national phenomena is prevalent in Haryana as well. Pushing of files forward needs money power at every step.
 
Rajpal ji, Aap indulged in communal appeasement politics on the lines of the Congress party and it highly unlikely that they would be able to get a foothold in Haryana barring a few seats here and there.

AAP relies on sensationalism by raking up of day-to-day issues. However, their stand on a few issues is controversial:
1. Plebiscite in the State of J&K whether it wants to remain with India
2. Following communal brand of politics as the Congress party
3. There is no internal democracy - party run by the whims and fancies of Kejriwal
4. They don't have a larger national and international vision for India

CM BS Hooda and Ashok Tanwar declare that only honesty and win-ability capability of the candidates will be criterion for Congress nominees in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.
 
INLD MP Dushyant Chautala, while addressing INSO said that his party would allot 50 per cent seats to youth and women candidates in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.

He also said that the first list of the candidates would be declared by 15th July, 2014.
 
Rao Inderjit Singh says that before plunging in assembly elections, BJP must declare their CM candidate. This will be helpful to the BJP to secure majority support, according to him.
