I must confess that 100% of any community cannot exercise franchise in favour of any one party or individual and have consensus. But let me take the liberty of stating the fact that perhaps for the first time (save emergency era) in the history of Haryana elections, in last General Elections in Hissar Constituency majority of our community voted in favour of INLD candidate to make him win the Lok Sabha election. Of course this happened because HJC supremo delivered caste based anti-Jat speeches. People observed that a person who has suffixed his caste tag with his name Kuldeep 'BISHNOI' is blaming others for caste based politics. His caste based call proved suicidal.
I know a village which is one of the biggest villages in Hissar has been benefited for a long time by whatever party's government came to power. This village is comprised of all significant communities of Haryana. This village had hidden understanding of unity. So,the vast majority of the eligible villagers voted in favour of one premeditated political party. Now whether that party won or lost election it didn't make any difference to the villagers because each party knew their collective voting pattern. So politicians always tried to woo them in the hope that in next elections the villagers would favour them. The villagers negotiated maximum benefit from government no matter which party came into power. Alas! Unity never suits politicians.
Can't we by and large take lesson from above example?
