From the numerous posts above, it seems that day in and day out we are guessing who or which party will form the govt. in Haryana.

But the larger question is which party will form govt. in all the states including Haryana that are going to the hustings.

I exhort all fellow members to choose between parties that are pseudo secular and parties that are truly secular (or at least they don't wear the secular badge or show it off). One party's PM said that one particular community has the first right over others on the nation's resources. The very same party came up with the communal violence bill which outrightly targets Hindus (including Jats). There is another party which turned a blind eye to molestation of girls by members of a particular community and which is still continuing with that policy. The politicians from these parties not only believe in symbolism by wearing skullcaps, they are breaking India by giving reservation on religious lines to a particular community (Congress, NCP, TMC, SP, etc.).

History has been a witness to the foolishness shown by the Hindus. We had great visionary rulers, but our people/general population lacked one thing - UNITY. We had the Jats under Maharaja Surajmal and Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Marathas under Chhatrapati Shivaji, Holkars in MP, but despite all the strength we were subjugated by the outside invaders be it the Mughals or the British.

No power in the world could have actually defeated the Indians (Hindus) if they had united against the foreign invaders. We say we have a rich history and heritage. What is so rich about it? We have a history of loot and plunder by outsiders over and over again for hundreds of years/centuries. We all know why and how the practice of Hindu marriages being conducted at night started during the mughal reign?

We as a society have never learnt from our past mistakes and refuse to do so even now. What do we want? ISIS type of situation in India being perpetrated by the misguided people?

It is time we rise above petty personal and political interests and caste/regional faultlines and galvanize/organize and stand behind BJP and present and potential allies of BJP (possibly INLD). I agree not everything is good in or about BJP. But at the moment that is our only hope to ensure that no Muzaffarnagar happens in future and to ensure that no brothers lose their lives while protecting/saving the dignity of their sister.

The situation has finally come to a 'make or break' point. If we still support such communal parties as the Khangress, NCP, TMC, SP, RJD, JD(U), our future generations will NEVER forgive us because we will again be just Jats, Marathas, Sikhs, etc fighting and losing our own individual wars against a united adversary.

Right choice by electors would go a long way in shaping our future, so it is hoped that they would not miss the opportunity to ensure happiness to one and all.

State Elections are meant for that particular state. So our focus should be :- who can do what in Haryana ?

You said BJP . I say BJP does not have pan-haryana presence so how can it understand the state problems ? Local problems ? Caste Equations ? Regional Bias ?

Half of its leaders are changecovers.

One should not take decisions based on what is happening in "Mohalla" but what is happening in "one's own home" ?

Our home should be run by our father not by any auntie who is residing in third lane !!

1. BJP will get just around 15% votes share
2. INLD will get around 35% votes share
3. Hooda will get around 25% votes share.

How does that translate into seats ?

RK^2

Not sure about Seats, INLD could be number one.

Lok shaba main.

BJP got 35% ---- Modi wave was main reason.
INLD got 25%--- Jabki INLD ka koi role nhi hota Lok shaba main.
INC got 23%--- Congress ki halat itni karab hote hue bhi.

Jaydatar log ab asie hai Jo ye sochte hai. In center we voted for modi, but now Hooda or Chautala.

INLD ko kam se kam 10% jayda vote milege because ab election haryana ke bare main. 4-5 % kam se kam congress voting share bhi badega.

Baki parties rhe gai alag se. BJP ka share 20% down jayega for sure.

Last evening, BJP declared names of 43 candidates for contesting Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections.

The known leaders who aspire for the post of CM like Anil Vij {Ambala Cantt}, Manohar Khattar [Karnal], Abhimanyu [Narnaund], Ram Bilash Sharma [Mahendragarh], O P Dhankar [Badali] and Kanwarpal Singh Gurjjar [Jagadhri] are nominated to contest from the old BJP stalwarts.

Interestingly former congressmen turned BJP men Birendra Singh's name does not appear in the list whereas Mrs Prem Lata Singh wife of Birendra Singh has been fielded from Uchana [district Jind].

Several candidates who switched over their loyalty towards BJP in recent months have also been successful to get BJP ticket like Chhatar Singh[Hansi], Jagdish Nehra Rania, Krishan Panwar [Isarana], Balwant Singh [Sadhaura]. The former two belonged earlier to Congress and the latter two to INLD.

Overall, list is a fine blend of old and new BJP faces !

Can anybody please share the seats along with names of 43 candidates BJP declared. If would be interesting to see how many jats got tickets.

My personal view is that Mrs Birender Singh's fighting election was premeditated decision. BJP has fielded almost flop candidates in many constituencies in Haryana which will certainly ensure positive votes in INLD account. It's rumoured that Khangrss has fitted moles in other parties to enlighten them(Khangressies) about the strategies of respective parties. If this rumour is true then can we assume other parties are packs of morons?

I firmly believe that INLD is in true sense A Secular Party in the political arena of our whole country. Even communists are biased in their approach. This is perhaps because of the rudimentary fact that Jat is basically true secular and has big heart for other communities(except his own). Otherwise how could other communities flourish in Jat heartland?
INLD doesn't need to butter up Italians, build industrial monuments in the name of those who have no connexion with Haryana. It's high time when we ought to realize our love for our own state!

Haryana election is more about Jat vs Non-jat. Is it not a wise step to support a Jat candidate, irrespective of party(Ofcourse out of BJP/INLD/INC). I am voter in Bahadurgarh constituency, my vote will not go for BJP but to either of INLD or INC.

PS: Provided candidate should be honest.

Surprise to see "Kharkhauda (SC), Kuldeep Kakran".....any clue...who uses Kankran in Haryana?????
Friend,

Nothing to surprise, he may belong to SC category !

The sub caste of several Harijans is similar to Jats in Haryana.

In addition, several gotras/sub castes of Ahirs, Gujjars also carry same name as that of the Jats.

For details read, Ram Sarup Joon's book on wiki pages of the Jatland.

Thanks and regards

I agree with you that state elections is a different cup of tea.

However, if you have gone through my entire post, you will realize that Haryanvis are part of India and all citizens share the larger concerns/challenges.

If everyone starts going in different direction, we as a nation and as a people would not reach anywhere.

Let us focus on regional issues and merge them with and under the umbrella of national issues.

BJP and its possible allies (INLD) are not American political entities. They are very much a part of Indian social milieu.

History does not give chances forever. Let's not fight and lose our own individual battles as Jats, Marathas, Sikhs, etc. Let's fight as a united force and ensure that nobody dares to turn a evil eye on us.

State Elections are meant for that particular state. So our focus should be :- who can do what in Haryana ?

Thanks for a very good thought provoking post.

It would he appreciated if you could delineate some issues of national and state level importance on which the electorate could base their choices for bringing forward the right persons as their representatives. The issues must be related to the problems being faced by the people of Haryana and how to merge them with national issues as various political parties are enumerating them in different way.

It is not the sole deciding factor.

Multifarious activities of various persons and political parties as well as objective conditions on the eve of polling will be influencing the outcome of the final fight of ballot !

Everyone has freedom of choice as whom to vote.

But secrecy of voting must be kept at the polling booth otherwise as per law your vote stands a chance to be declared cancelled/invalidated by the presiding officer at the booth.

BJP supporter saying that Ram vilas sharma sold tickets for money. shyaad hi bjp ki seat 10 tak aye. koi chance nhi hai bjp ka
