For
last one week I have been thinking deeply about the Delhi election outcome. To be truthful, I was depressed thinking about the
coming uncertainty and the possible chaos in Delhi politics (which is highly possible). However, wishing outcome my way amounted to hiding the face in sand and not to learn the ground reality. Reality is that majority of people in Delhi were not willing to trust the BJP promises at local level. I came to the conclusion that large number of people are facing daily survival issues which need immediate solutions and not the long term promises and dreams. Lower end of the society simply does not have energy and patience for tall promises and rosy dreams. A person who lives on daily wage, expects his payment in the evening on the same day and not at the end of month what he saw in the promises of BJP. I felt relieved that I came of some conclusion and in a way salute the Delhi voters. What people like me feel might be true for a section of society who think at different level, but not for the people who think of their life on daily basis. In a way Delhi election was fought between haves and have not. Last 10-15 years have created massive inequality in the society. Many like me had no clue the extent of this massive gap. Thee is hardly any intelligent debate in electronic media how this affected the Delhi elections. At last I found one sane voice in print media on the issue which is identical to what I have been thinking and now concluded.

Chances are high that we will be seeing a confrontation between new Delhi government and Modi government on a daily basis. If this happens, be ready for the congress come back in next elections.
