Return of Anna Hazare
Some important points have emerged from the views of the members while participating to the discussion in this thread. The Land Acquisition Ordinance is the centre of discussion.
The bill passed by Congress Party just before elections as pro-farmers’, ignored other factors. The timing was so, that no single farmer passed on thanks to the party orally or by vote-support. BJP along with then other opposition parties became party to the bill approval to save face from farmers as also ensured dilution of its credit to Congress
Anna’s participation is seen as backdoor support for AK but in present scene it is not. Anna’s 1[SUP]st[/SUP] movement caught the sudden support of urban youth; but, this time the group is heterogeneous and un- organized. Many more apprehensions do exist.
BJP founder leaders always stated that Congress is playing minority politics; thus BJP has to follow majority politics. Modi Ji has properly learned the biology of India. He tried his knowledge during his 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] term Gujarat elections; those were fought against a social group of our own society. During the election campaigns he quoted in public meetings: “यदि मोदी जीतेगा तो गुजरात मे आतिसबाजी होगी ओर हारेगा तो पड़ोसी देश मे पटाके छूटेंगे” and it paid. He fought recent state election in his own name knowingly, he also invited Shah as his visionary so they fought Haryana and Maharashtra elections against another social group and succeeded.
He introduced the land ordinance, conveyed his support to landless people that comprise large group of capitalists, Dalits and other weaker groups; in other words first attack against Mandal Group. Through this ordinance Modi shall start “Capture UP Bihar” which is strong hold of Mandal Group.
Intelligently Modi played different skits as Clean India, Make in India, Jan Dhan Yojna, Direct Benefit Transfer, PPP Model etc without any money spend to evade public attention to the immediate problems. He shall exploit time for implementing UP Bihar Plans. As of now Modi Plan seems BHAGVA KARAN of INDIA, circumstances seem to favor him; because, strong farmer group Ahir-Jat-Gujar-Rajput and Muslim Farmers may not give a united fight to Modi Move; as also their united struggle seems impossible.
Farmers’ accepting leadership of Anna Ji and his style of movement are yet to be seen. Further, If farmers start protests, it can prove difficult for BJP/Modi Ji to manage,
