    yahin hun :)

aajkal thoda sa busy hun office mein

koi kaam ? :) kuch shuru karo discussion fiscussion :D
i was referring to the post no 12 in the same thread...i was hoping(against hope of course!) tht maybe people wud discuss something serious..if i wud have mentioned something like-lindsay lohan was a mass murderer, everyone wud have come fwd to concur tht !!....
    anywayz leave it...:) ...tc!!
bottomline is tht we need reservtion...nd since it an opportunity which is means to satisfying the needs/wants...we should grab it..
as for the rural folks..lot many are present who would be benefited immediately...as for the rest--strengthen the secondary education system.
Yeah, that ways, we should waive off the creamy layer thing altogether. What about the guy with 7 lakh p.a. and 6 daughters and 1 son? He is also needy by the same parameter.
    >> yes he wud be needing the financial help nd rservation might get his son nd daughters to get a job...but unfortunately they wont get the benefit!
it was not intentional thts the shortcoming of written communication u c one point nd off you go with the replies:)
almost entire outer delhi has sold its land to developers nd many have even lost the fortune they got..your point being??they would go for reservation??yes they can since they r already in the OBC quota. but do they want to work?? also delhi jats dont have quota at the centre
    hmm....the classical question --> want v/s need!!!
lets c..x wants reservation, though he may not need it??...nd y needs reservation...??
how do we know x does not need reservation??..his father has annual income of 4lpa ...has 5 daughters nd one son(x)....x getting a job wud help the family!
as for ur kids...they wud need the reservation not in the immediate future i believe...it wud take some time, right?? :) ..u cud try fudging the documents then...u will realize how difficult it is...(even now its pretty hard, people get caught all the time)
no one is a perfect idealist..everyone tries to take advantage of the loopholes...but its becoming increasingly difficult to do so...the resons u gave--faking one thig or the other..how many do u think go through with that?? all?? 50%?? i dont think so...a very small percentage...we can live with tht...nd over time even tht will drop..
lets take ur example -- ur kids wont be able to take benefits of reservation, as u fall in the creamy layer (this is a scenario when reservation is implemented in harayana). so ur family is off the reservation radar even though u will be officially an OBC.
same is true for me....but not true for people from SC/ST of our batches...hence the reason for their backwardness.
being educated is the first step for anything.and educated nd jobless youth in villages is a reality nd a very serious issue, personal experience to vouch for it.
as for the kids in the cities, the creamy layer funda comes up which, believe me,does help in making the segregation between have nd have nots.
    first--wht does vms stand for?

reservation does help.in villages there r scores of educated young people who need the push and reservation provides tht boost.however, implementation of reservation should be with a long term prespective and nd not for short term gains.
