First of all, I am a human being at the core of my heart. Then an Indian, then a Haryanvi and of course I am proud of the fact that I am a JAAT because Jaats are very honest, straight forward, courageous and hard working people. The saying goes that the jaat who is well versed in writing i.e. who knows how to write well is equivalent to GOD.

I have been the columnist of the Hindi dailies like Dainik Hari Bhoomi, Jan Satta, Dainik Tribune, Nav Bharat Times etc in the columns Sanskrit Darpan, Samaj Darshan, Mudde ki baat, Dharohar, Lok Dhara, Sagar Mein Gagar, Nav Saksharon Ka Kona etc for the last decades. Thus I have about 300 articles, short stories, poems, features etc.
Let me tell you I am the son of soil belonging to a small village Kherka Gujjar of Jhajjar of Haryana State, previously this village was in Distt. Rohtak.
Despite primary and high school education from Govt. school of Village Dulehra and graduation from rural college at Jhajjar in Haryana, I got post graduate degrees in English literature as well as in Hindi literature from M.D.U Rohtak, Haryana, India. I also got L.L.B Degree and certificate course from this university. I also got higher degrees of Master of Philosophy(M. Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy(PhD) from M.D.U Rohtak (HR).
In my quest to acquire more and more education, I got Post Graduation Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication as well as Post Graduation in Translation(English to Hindi).
At my family front , my father Sh. Sada Ram Deswal expired when I was just 5 years old. We were 5 brothers and 3 sisters. My mother Darka Devi and grandfather Ch. Mohan Lal Deswal were not educated yet they liked education at the core of their heart. My grand father encouraged me to work hard to get good education, which I followed.
Luckily my wife Dr. Raj Kala Deswal is also highly educated having M.A in Hindi and History, M.Phil and PhD in Hindi Literature. She has been working as Senior Lecturer in Hindi Literature and language at Tao Devi Lal Govt. College for Women at Murthal, Sonipat, Haryana which is famous for Dhabas and Paranthas. Her parents hail from village Nizampur Majra- Framana in Sonipat Distt. Of Haryana, a village of Gehlawat Jats. Not to mention, that my gotra is Deswal. Deswals have brotherly relations with jats of Dalal, Maan and Suhag.
As far as my offsprings are concerned, my elder son Udit Somya Deswal ,a Dipsite has acquired his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communications from I.T.M Gurgaon. After serving as Senior Executive Engineer in Fibcom and Airtel, now he is pursuing his Master Degree in Human Resource Development from the Deptt. Of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, India. My younger son Gopinder Deswal is pursuing his graduation in Commerce and simultaneously he is doing his diploma in Aviation and Hospitality Management from Frankfin, Delhi.
