BTW: I did see a few episodes of Chanakaya (first 4). Shailendra is right about it. It definitely will have you hooked. I remember how I just couldn't digest the horribly dull Ramayana, and then somewhat better Mahabharat. Chanayaka is very different. Plan to see the rest of the episodes too.
