जिन्होंने हिंदू धर्म को त्यागा...

The very mention of flaws in Sikhism and silence about it makes you think that I am getting personal.

Good.

Where are those posts where you wrote about the flaws in Sikhism?? One sentence here and there. That is called lip service. On the other hand I can quote your numerous posts where you took pleasure in taking potshots at Hindu faith. What is typically called - Behti Ganga mein haath dhona - along with a few misguided Hindus.

As usual you are getting personal and start questioning and assuming motives when you run out of arguments.

I have highlighted flaws in Sikhism and Sikh society many times. Every community, society, religion has flaws. Nothing is perfect.

You don't know me, so stop making personal comments about what I experienced or not.

Did I ask you where and why you comment? Its my wish where I wish to comment. If you see it as an agenda, so be it. I care two hoots. I will continue to post wherever I wish to. Stop me if you can.

I know you care two hoots. When a few (misguided) Hindus themselves don't care, why should you care?

Yes you will continue to post what you please and where you want. Why should I stop you?

I have seen numerous Sikhs who indulge in Hindu bashing on the online forums. They practice what in Islamic parlance is called Takkiya (soft Jihad). You have something else in your heart and portray quite the opposite while taking sweet revenge whenever and whatever that amounts to as long as your hatred finds a channel to escape the confines of the deeper crevices of your mind/thoughts.

Sir, by what you and the Hindu-bashers write, I see you as part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Only abuse, cursing and criticism, NO SOLUTION. If you do not like the babas put them behind bars. Instead what you are doing is abusing Hindu faith which we and y/our forefathers, we and y/our future generations followed/follow/following.

My question is - is this abuse and cursing the reforms that you talk about?

If you understand the values/ morals/teachings of Hindu Dharma, you would never consider me as a part of problem.

I am just a simple adherent of Hinduism and will be last man to abuse or curse my Hindu Dharma. Point out one word from my posts where I have abused my dharma and I will offer unconditional apology, otherwise, kindly read them again and try to understand their meaning in proper perspective what I have written.

A true Hindu is always open to know and assimilate ideas from all directions and keeps an open mind to understand more and more as he grows in age and experience and that is what I am doing.

I could not make out what you want to say in the last sentence of your post, kindly elaborate if you please !

When I write 'YOU' I did not mean you the person, I meant the people who just have all the abuse, curses and criticisms, but no action on reforms.

I agree, you have not uttered a single word against your faith. You are one of the learned elders on this site and I hold you in high esteem for that.

In fact, this YOU was aimed at certain people whose favourite pastime is cursing. Unfortunately you presented yourself through your posts as defending such people.

I also agree with you in that the Hindu faith talks about tolerance, peace and non-violence. But ONE THING IS FOR SURE, IT DOES NOT TEACH US TO BE APOLOGETIC FOR WHO WE ARE ARE - HINDUS.

The last sentence:

There are two sides to a problem - a problem and a solution. It is our choice whether we would like to be a part of the problem or the solution. The problem is like every other religion there is need for further reforms in Hindu religion. But day in and day out cursing it or spending a lifetime abusing it is again a problem and not a solution. In fact, most of the apologetic Hindus by abusing it, think that they have reached the solution.

Whereas, the solution lies in reforming it, not abusing it.

My question to you was whether this abusing it is a problem or a solution because you were directly/indirectly supporting their stance that if you abuse/curse Hindu faith, that is the SOLUTION.

Gautama the Buddha, Swami Dayanand Sarswati and many others who raised the banner against ills of the prevalent religious faiths of the times were also castigated as misguided persons.

Therefore, this is ages old method adopted by lovers of status quo to silence the critics to give them bad name and try to put a stop to the advancement of their demand and spread of their views.

That is what exactly is being done by some cloistered theologians, ostensibly for two reasons; i)either in pursuit of political agenda or ii) out of innocence.

So closed mind-set !

I take leave from discussion with you with the prayer to the God to Bless you and also

May the Almighty broaden your vision about Hindu Dharma and its adherents !

Dear Mr. Rajpal,
Do u know the husband of Shanti?

I am amazed and disappointed to note that you are calling me the one with a closed mindset and NOT the ones who day in and day out abuse and curse Hindu religion.

I am yet to get a STRAIGHTFORWARD reply from you or the people who you are defending as to what reforms have you done to Hindu faith? Is abusing and cursing Hinduism the reforms that you talk about?

I do not profess to know the vedas or the puranas, the only thing I know is that I unlike others will not APOLOGIZE for being a Hindu. I am proud to be a Hindu.

My religion has reformed over the ages and is still in a state of reform. It does not behead, stone or kill anyone for not adhering to its tenets. It provides all the freedom to its followers. Unlike others, it does not outcast me in case I do not know my religious prayers, do not visit the temple or do not do prayers seven times a day. It is one of the most liberal faiths in the world.

I am amazed at the double standards of a few members. They profess to be Hindus but also claim that to abuse and curse their religion is their birthright which comes automatically to them. And when they are asked for solutions or their personal contribution for solutions/reforms, the other person is called a person with a closed mindset.

Seems like you have a degree in online psychology. You can understand people and their heart's true intentions just via online posts and comments. I bet even CIA and RAW do not possess that kind of psycho-analytical talent!

My two cents ..

Stop weeping and crying..

Topic was about downfall of those who left Hinduism ......and you are crying why people are not giving suggestions about improvement of Hindu/Bahmanic religion.

Brother First get facts correct Jats have not been a part of this religion which was dictated by bahmans we followed Buddha ...so why should we bother about improving or not improving it ?

when our traditions of widow remarriage are looked down Our profession agriculture is included in lower varna our people are treated lower to other hindus like brahmans why should we bother to improve it.

First you must ask Hindu Priests and pandits whether they think Jats are Hindus ?

I am neither supporting view points of other participants nor opposing yours but am trying to convince you that if some people seek changes in the present state of affairs in which our Hindu Dharma has been pushed by some vested interests, they have a right to raise their voice. In the same way you have a right to give logical reply to their criticism instead of asking them to leave the Hindu Dharma.

None of the members is for maligning the ages old Hindu Dharma but some of the adherent feel that some illogical things are happening in the name of service of Hinduism. Hence there are a number of thread discussions under progress.

Instead of listening to logic or replying with reasoned posts, you straightaway ask the participants either to leave the fold of Hindu Dharma or take the law in their hands and throw the erring 'Babas' away or ask what they have done in the field of reformation of Hinduism ! Have you ever introspected before putting all these hard hitting ideas against the participants, if not so far, kindly do it now, think with cool and composed mind and then answers you expect from others will come to you automatically from your within.

What does this state of affairs show, you want either participants remain mum and go on listening unreasonable things being said by a few or quit Hinduism.

Looking at this messy state of affairs, I reluctantly involved myself in the discussion the other day to sort out the illogical points being given undue weight by a few but regretfully you are not ready to listen to reason hence I have preferred not to join issue with you.

I think you need to distinguish what is difference between opposition and difference of opinion on some issue.

Difference of opinion on given issues is not always bad. Rather it is the very soul of intellectual discussion and progress.

Thanks and wish you all the best as well as enjoy fruitful discussion based on logic and reasoning.

Sometimes u need to balance your mind, emotions only then u can take better decisions.

]Upender Bhai

Have you ever tried to find your own genealogy .Just find it from some panda from Haridwar and you will be surprised to find a lot of persian names in that .Names mentioned as Irsamad is central asian Buja Vivswan etc are Iranian... Iit. loverpi etc can be better understood by you ,However, these are the names of composer of rigvedic hymns ...

With all due respect Honourable Narender Ji, what majority says that matters. Exceptions are always there.

]For our ancesstor entire central asia was a playground ,they knew no boundaries no passports moved and settled where ever they found conditions suitable for them ..you want to chain their Pahchan to present India ..It is futile and useless.

You are trying to misguide others. No history of Jats in central Asia, except some slaves were taken to there by Bin Qasim.

] There is nothing like Hindu Religion .....Term Hindu was coined by foreigners like Arabs for geographic sense ....for religion they knew two religions in those times...
Bahmans...(follower of present Hinduism)
If it is the case then there is nothing like Jats....Term Jat was coined by other Indians to them. Names are mostly given by others, because they need most to do something with it.
]Samans....(follower of Buddhism)

And they clearly mentions again and again that........ Jats are SAMANIS.

You are again misguiding others. I never heard Samani Jat like I have heard Muslim Jat, Sikh Jat, Hindu Jat (and even of course Jat Dharmi Jat (like you and some 2-3 more here).

]So present Hindu Jats as it looks are just convert who accepted the superiority( slavery in your terms) of Brahamns in religious matters afterwards.

Brahmins are themselves a victim of Hinduism. A Brahmin Ravan's effigy is burnt every year by the masses all over the world. Furthermore Hinduism has no founder (old is gold and with the passing time such name/names disappeared and who knows some divine power was responsible for its foundation), thus Hindus have no master on their head, while all others have e.g. Muslims have Prophet Mohammad, Christians have Jesus Christ, Sikhs have Guru Nanak, Budhists/Samanis (I never heard who the hell these Samanis are) have Lord Buddha, Jat Dharmi have Col. Fateh Singh Kharb as master on their head. I am Hindu and I dont have any master on my head. Brahmins are not founder of Hinduism, rather they are just servant of Hinduism. So I am free minded like 'self employed' while all others including Jat Dharmi are slaves to someone or the other human being.
Prove me wrong with proofs/good logics. No need to argue without proofs as such argument can work only among illiterate people in some village chaupal. Though at present there may also be faced opposition. On some social networking forums proofs can be provided. I can provide proofs in support of my claims, while you can't because your claims carry no weight.

My two cents .. ?

Brother! keep the change. You may require it more.

As far as weeping and crying is concerned, it is people like you who keep crying that Hinduism is bad, Hinduism is this, Hinduism is that.

And the heights of hypocrisy is this that you follow the Hindu rituals, mention Hinduism as your religion in all the official forms and yet keep cursing it.

Well, keep doing the thing at which you are best! Cursing, criticizing and abusing- Which actually is the weeping and crying. Like you I am not ashamed to be a Hindu. To the contrary, I am proud to be one.

I don't need to make the pandits or priests to do or say anything, neither does any other Hindu from any other caste. I realize the importance of the concept of 'strength in unity' and so do other Hindus. It is people like you who have not learnt the lessons from history. Maybe you will some day!

Happy cursing to you!!!!! Oops! Happy, weeping and crying!!
