Congrts to Deepak. A word of caution.
But before getting admission on the basis of this test he must check out genuineness of the Institute.

it is like any Tom, Dick, Harry starts judging people and giving away awards saying that they have included the best and the brightest in their assessment. The names of the best and the brightest (B and B) being used by the award giving people are only for their own promotion and interest. Do you think the B and B's would care for such awards even if they were awarded?

I think the news media presented it wrong and distorted the news badly. He actually cleared the SAT 2011 test conducted for admissions in USA colleges. Instead of saying SAT, newspaper wrote CET. May be thought that way it will be more clear to desi readers, and thus invented WCET. He may have score good marks in SAT 2011 and some pvt institute (akash) claimed that he got 1st rank. Don't think SAT publishes any ranking.

To get perfect score in SAT (2400 out of 2400), one not has to be genius but a good student and every year some students get this perfect score.

and it is not some great achievement just to clear SAT, GMAT, GRE or TOEFL. Getting admission in IIT, AIIMS or IIM is way more difficult.

See how media is cooking stories; MIT is Manchester Information Technology university, WOW ! Then why Maharashtra Institute of Technology is discriminated?

Thanks for the research and I agree with your view Vijay. This seems to be a publicity
tactics by Aakash and nothing else.
