but uncleji dont u think u r being kinda diplomatic here ;) ;) Although the Whole Jatland is like a village but here this thread was about the ppl whom u interacted by meetin in person, by chatin, PMs or some other way so I expected the very names of the ppl who left inerasable marks on ur memory! :) :)

Well, thanks all!, for the ppl who replied here but at the same time I'm kinda disappointed to find not even a single reply from Kilkki Taull....although most of the Killki Taull memebers are my gud friends but still no response, I wonder if the therad wud be about Influential Jats in a Negative way then Im sure there wud be hell lotta responses from some of Kilkki Taull memebers :) this is not Appreciable guys! comeon! where r u???

Well, I also stated clearly that Friends, Foes, Strangers & acquaintances all r heartly invited to put their thoughts!!!

Never mind Jit - our friends may be busy elsewhere now a days - weddings, dance parties, photography etc. They are all good guys, let them enjoy in their own way. My policy has been to contribute best, without caring for results. See my thread The most popular threads of Jatland – a Survey. I never imagined that my thread Tips for use of Hindi on your computer with such a boring subject, would attract maximum readership in "Tech Talk" forum in such a short time - though I am not a technocrat. On the other hand, in humor forum, where I have put many threads, that too in Devanagri, not much response was noticed, perhaps due to the fact that many Jatlanders still have old PCs with older versions of windows (Win98 etc.) and are unable to read Hindi on their computers, due to non-availablity of fonts. Many of them use cyber cafe computers which are using older versions of Windows and hence, not update.

So, continue with your job लगे रहो मुन्ना भाई की तरह - कर्म किये जा, फल की इच्छा मत कर ।

On the topic itself I would like to add one name - Laxman Burdak ji. In fact I would give him the first place - the person who is serving this site to the maximum extent. See Wiki section where most of us hesitate to visit. This entire section is his responsibility and many pages have been converted into bilingual ones during this year.

ek tau tha gaam mein uncle ji...usne koi kaam na tha.....er to woh khaatt pei baithya rehya kartaa.....er to jaadyan mein uske ghar aala ne woh ghamm mein bitha diya khaat pei.....er woh rukee maran laag gya....ak dekho reh gaam alon....yeh manne ghaam(dhoop) mein marenge.....uske ghar aalan ne sochi yu buddhla badnaam karegaa humne....er to unhe woh pher thoddi chan(chaon) mein bitha diya.....woh pher laagya maran rukke....ak yeh manne marenge jaade mein.....ghar kyan ne uski khaat aadhi ghaam mein karrr di er aadhi chan mein.....:p :D

Hi,
Every once in a while such threads emerge and they used to look meaningless to me. I mean there could be better things to discuss than listing your favorite people in public. No second thought its nice way to thank your friends and recognize people’s contributions.

Such kind of list is bound to be subjective and so is mine. On Christmas eve, I wanted to thank few Jatlanders who have personally influenced/inspired me (or made stay in Jatland pleasant) for last one and half years by interactions through Jatland and outside Jatland... it also includes people who may not be active on Jatland now but are good friends nevertheless... ohh it took me around an hour to write it but I hope it’s worth it…
