91 Jats selected in UPSC!!

I only wish Mr. Jasbir Singh Malik stops shouting from rooftop about the successful Jat candidates.

These candidates have broken the glass ceiling through their perseverance, hard work and toil. Let them claim their space under the sun. I have seen no other caste making too much noise on the success of its candidates. We have to learn to digest success. In fact, the success of these bright young men and women should be a source of inspiration to future generations of Jats. Let us prove our worth to ourselves and to the world at large through our action and results instead of making too much noise about it.

I take this opportunity to congratulate all my brothers and sisters who have made it to the coveted Central govt. services and hope and wish many more from the community would join them in their ranks in the times to come.
 
Mr Rana , i agree with your point of view that our community make too much of noise on the success of its people. Yes there is a need to make our action speak out loud . But scenario is altogether different in reality. Despite being intelligent and successful in every field we jats are often labeled as illeterate , uncivilised and people with absence of mind.
At the same time i would like to extend my warm wishes to my fellow jats who are selected in coveted civil services this year and also my wishes to those who somehow couldn't make it this time and also to those who are aspiring for same. I hope these ppl will prove to be an asset for community in coming time.
 
Great news ! Winning 10% seats despite only1-2% of population is an great achievement! Hats off to these hardworkers and thanks for making caste proud!
 
इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं कि सिविल सर्विस में सफल जाट प्रतिभागियों ने समस्त जाट समुदाय का सीना गर्व से चौड़ा कर दिया है। लेकिन सफलता के साथ विनम्रता भी जरूरी है।

जाट प्रतियोगी पहले भी सफल हुए है और आने वाले समय में भी होंगे। जाटो की यह शौर्यगाथा समस्त दिशाओ में फैलेगी। हमें इन सफलताओ को अपनी आदत में बदलना है। ये मेहनत से मिली सफलता है तुक्के से नहीं।

हमें बांग्लादेश क्रिकेट टीम की तरह जश्न मनाने की जरूरत नहीं है जो साल में एक-आध बार जीतने पर आपे से बाहर हो जाते है।

मेरे विचार से ये कहना चाहिये कि अगर आरक्षण नहीं होता तो कुछ ओर होनहार जाट इस सफ़ल सूची में शामिल होते !

Kaise bhai??............samjhana yeh math........rajasthan se ho??...centre main reservation se pehle kitne UPSC nikalte the waha se...aur uske baad kitne nikle...data ho to compare lo??....samjah aa jaayega yeh maths............more than 50% are from rajasthan se hai...to bhai success to pacha hi lenge..........par aap bhi sachaai pachana seekh lo..... jatto ke jyadatar sankhya dehaat main hain..waha resource ki kami hai...to reservation chaiye bhai...sabhi aap jaise caot-paint aale nahi hai

प्रशान्त, मेरा गणित बिल्कुल सीधा साधा है, अगर आरक्षण नहीं होता ओर सभी सीटे ऒपन होती तो सफ़ल जाट प्रतिभागियों की संख्या ओर ज्यादा होती ! राजस्थान, हरियाणा, यूपी, पंजाब, दिल्ली बाद की बातें है जिस पर तुम चाहो तो सारा दिन बहस कर सकते हो ! कोट पैन्ट या धोती पहनने से किसी का दिमाग तेज या कमजोर नहीं हो जाता ! काबिल इंसान मेहनत ओर लगन से अपनी मंजिल पा ही लेता है !

आरक्षण के बारे में मेरे विचार व्यक्तिगत है ओर तुम्हें मुझसे असहमत होने का पूरा अधिकार है !
 
Now with the success of these bright young men and women from the community, can we expect that this would be a continuing trend which would grow further in terms of numbers year after year.

As we all know, Civil service and other competitive exams are highly competitive with cut-throat competition. Candidates burn midnight oil and forget everything else during those years of preparation. Their focus, one-track approach, faith in their own capability and the sight of light at the end of the tunnel (trophy) is what keeps driving them through the thick and thin of those years of toil and labour. They might be unsuccessful in the first attempt, but they do not give up and in fact get back to work immediately (perseverance).

Any competitive exam preparation has to be highly systematic, well planned and focused in terms of syllabus (what to study and what not), time management (when to study and for how long), regular evaluation (how much you retain of what you have studied through revision and mock tests), etc. All these activities need to be mixed with regular, short and systematized breaks to rejuvenate the mind.

To have a focused study of the chosen subjects in light of the vast syllabus, one needs to preferably take guidance of the coaching institutes or friends who have been successful in the exam in terms of the specific topics of study, any shortcuts, approaches to memorizing more and faster, at the same time retaining it and expressing it effectively in exams.

Can I request the senior members from JL who have been in academics to kindly spare time and throw light on the best possible course/way to proceed in the chosen subjects for the aspirants? I would also request fellow members to invite their friends/relatives who have been successful in various competitive exams to share their mantra of success either through write-ups/posts or in chaupal at a pre-decided time on a regular basis.

The only road to success is hard work. The aspirants will have to forget everything else during those years and their families will have to stand with them during those years.

Finally, once again, I hope to see even more numbers from the community qualifying and in fact attaining higher ranks. We are the best in terms of brains and brawn - time to reclaim our past glory.

They qualified under Scheduled Caste/Tribe Category so they can't be Jats.

There might be other candidates who are not Jats but labelled as Jats due to their resemblance with Jat Gotras and/or surnames.

We should avoid such mistakes.
