Dear respected and friends

If any one want to answer my question then welcome. But i request from all of u that don't take it otherwise.
(1). here i want to ask all of you that what u did for your country and what are u going to do in comparison of the respect or anything u get from this country. what u did for ur society as a good citizen. .

(2). Jat community is more corrupted then other community :- when i comes to know or listen from many people that jat community is more corrupted then other community i don't know how far it is right or wrong. but when i try to check this fact on in my own area then i find it may be true. In my area there are many officer from many community working in high post. But Jat officer are working in high post at present. district collector is also jat but he is too much corrupted. M.P(SIKAR) is also jat but he is also too much corrupted. and finally i find that it may be right.
if it is really right in all over then it is really said.
so i invite your point on this situation.

It may be a foolish quesiton to you but if you want to answer then welcome otherwise thanks for giving your important time to read this article.

Mukesh don't be pessimistic degrade yourself. Look around yourself jats are still comparitively most honest than others. It is not possible for everyone to do big things in life. If you do your assigned job honestly, it is a great service to the country and my personal experience is that most of the jats whom I met during 25 years of my working for the government, were not only hardworking but also honest as compared to others. When it comes to sacrifing for the sake of country, (no other service is bigger) your will find that about half of them are jats and the other half all others. As regards corruption jat politicians and bureaucrates, the most corrupt class in India, you will find that they too are comparitively small fish in that pond. No jat politician has been caught with 3-4 crores like others. Even socially jats are far-far better than others. I fail to understand what is basis of your allegation to say that jats are more corrupt.

My Dear,

Log to paisa leke bhi kaam nahin karte, itna hi bahut hai, ki agar Jat paise leke aapka kaam to pakka kar de :)

Everyone needs money to fulfill his desires & requirements.

Not by dishonest means...............

Dear All,

What one has done for his country is a very relative question. I believe that we all contribute in some manner or the other. It is easy to say that I have done this or that for the country but in my personal opinion the real contributors are those who help their less fortunate kith and kin stand on their own feet. I believe that a poor man who is trying to make two ends meet is as equal a contributor as a businessamn, lawyer, soldier or whosoever.

Now comes the question of honesty. If you go as per the definition of honesty, 'iss hamam main sab nangey'. I don't believe one can differentaite between castes, communities or even individuals, that so and so is more corrupt or less corrupt. Corrupt is corrupt. Period. And we live in 'Kalyug'. Earlier people used to bribe for getting wrong thing done, but now you have to pay even to get the right thing done.

Let me give a MANTRA to someone who wants to lead a life of honesty in a corrupted society. Remain honest yourself. Try it, it is worth it.

Regards,

JS Malik

- If it is Haryana, its jats who are corrupted.

- If it is Bihar, its Biharis who are corrupted.

- If it is Tamil Nadu, its Madrasis who are corrupted.

- If it is Punjab, its Sardars who are corrupted.

My dear friend corruption is an art which is quite famous not only in India but across the world. So don't loose heart and let the world be as it is.

I also once upon a time thought on the same line. The best I could do was not to corrupt any body.

Cheers!!!

Dear Mukesh,

I do not agree with generalised statement-that jats are more corrupt.
In general jats have more self-respect. so when the corruption comes in way of self-respect, jats will avoid it.
Jats are considered to be kind to the poor people, so they will avoid taking money from poor people also. This will reduce the extent of corruption.
Jats are considered to be strict and good administrators. Such officers will avoid corruption.
As such Jats are less corrupt.Corruption is very much person specific. It has no correlation with caste.

Dear Friends,

My experience has been that the Jats in lower ranks of Government jobs tend to be more corrupt than those in senior jobs. While being in Delhi I have personally faced Delhi police and some other clerical staff in the government. Jat police cops from our own area took money and did not have any consideration even after my telling that I am also a Jat. Jats in senior posts are certainly honest and helping to fellow jats. Therefore it all again boils down to education level of the person to a very large extent and as a rule of thumb, I won't trust that Jat cops in Delhi police are honest, except barring few here and there.

hello mukesh,
Well its not true to say that jats r the most corrupt, I was in B´lore for quite a large part of my life, there I found kannads to be corrupt, when I was helping my dad in school I found fellow schoolwalas to be corrupt, now I am in Brazil, here I find them to be corrupted as well, so wherever there is scope of corruption, there would be corruption, be it US, India or Jats, its only the difference from where u look at it. So plz dont say jats r the most corrupt, yes there r corrupt people but it depends on individuals not on their community.
hope u would understand the fact.
brgds

this is as simple as it gets-
Jahan Admi hongi wahan Corruption be hoga n this the fact.

as for our duties, everyone talks about his/her rights but noone talks about his/r duties if ppl start self-analyzing then there won't be any probs.

our primary responsibilites is to reamin honest with our conscience.

rock on,
Jit

I agree with Jitendra's view. Actually, I had been saying all my life that I consider that person as honest who had an opportunity to be dishonest and did not avail it. He is the person who is actually honest.

There are some honest people, who actually did not have an opportunity to be dishonest. Probably many of them would embrace dihonesty to make some money or get some favor at the first possible opportunity.

Some members have mentioned that you give money and people still do not do the work. I feel giving money is as much dishonesty as taking it.

The question is how we can protect ourselves from getting into the rat race. I feel being contended and satisfied is most important aspect of one's personality. When we have an over ambition, and don't want to work for it, I feel corruption creeps in. We then want to get it through other means or easy way.

Corruption is the problem. It is prevailing in all parts of the world and in all communities. The question is how to eradicate it or how to learn to live with it, without hampering your peace of mind. A difficult thing to do, but what alternative we can have? We need to think over it. It might take years, or centuries to counter it, but I am sure, it is not impossible to limit it if not completely remove it.

Oh Agreed Corruption is present everywhere and in most countries...
The only important difference being that in some Developed Nations it happens only at the very high rung, so much so that the common man is never crushed under the load of acceptable 'bribes'...and virtually never comes in contact with an out and out 'ghoos-khori' in a day to day living!

I remember seeing a Discovery documentary that showed how very interested Companies wanting to open their ventures in India (not the outsourcing types...but actually joint venture/Franchise kinds) actually tend to stay away from the blatant 'red-tape' that they encounter; basically translated as all those influential people sitting at the right places stretching out a demanding palm every time they are approached on a prospective venture in the Indian sub-continent. It was all out there!!! CEO's talking frankly on TV about the distrust and corruption they encounter every time...That's the image the corporate and Business world believes in about us!

Absolutely right Mr. Shailendra Hooda.

Many companies do not want to do business in India because of this reason and this could be one of the reasons of most of the manufacturing ventures being established in China.

I think the corruption, irrespective of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth, has arrived and been accepted in India with open arms. Didn't our late PM Smt. Indira Gandhi said "corruption is a universal phemenon". 95% of the honests are those who don't get a chance to be corrupt. Even if we don't want to be corrupt, people force us to be corrupt. When someone joins IAS, IPS, IRS etc. everybody expects him to have a big kothi, a shining premium car etc. which is not possible without resorting to corruption. Personally, I am of the view that one should not sell his conscience for petty gains. Having seen a bit of almost every section of society, I am still of the view that jats are not corrupt to the extent others are.

Jats Corrupt

Corruption is everywhere
Why blame jats Its an art and I think Jats are way behind than other communities in the field.
they are fast learners so they will surpass everyone like they have done in every othe field
So take it easy

Dear Mukesh....
In my own openion there is no straight forward thumb rule to eliminate curruption.I think curruption comes throgh lack of education(as ppl already said here that employees on lower posts are much currupted than the counterparts on higher posts) and need of money. But this is also not very much true as few officers on higher posts even are fond of bribes.
So removing curruption is just as finding a nail in a room full of straw.
But we ppl are the real cause of curruption as we never take action against curruption saying "yahan ka to system hi kharab hai" ...... remember that "if we are not the part of the solution to a problem,we ourself are the problem". Isn't it true?.....
