Bollywood's hottest and most talked about pair Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were engaged on Sunday.

Confirmation of this came from none other than Abhishek's father, film icon Amitabh Bachchan, at whose residence here the engagement took place.

There was no immediate word on the wedding date, industry sources said, adding Abhishek popped the question after the international premiere in Toronto Friday of Bollywood film "Guru" featuring the duo in the lead roles.

Speaking to reporters at Toronto, Aishwarya, a former Miss Universe, had pleaded with them not to jump to conclusions about her relationship with Abhishek, saying an announcement would be made at the appropriate time.

Aishwarya had in the past been romantically linked to actors Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. However, reports had been flying thick and fast for the past few months that she and Abhishek were about to tie the knot.

These reports gained added currency after Aishwarya accompanied Abhishek and his parents to perform rituals at a Varanasi temple in November 2006.

secondly mujhe to shadi ke baad ka bhi bharosa nahi ki tike ya naa tike

for instance we have seen so many breakups to... like Javed Akhtar broke up with his 1st wife.
Dharmendra is living mutually with Hema malini and Prakash
Gulzar and Rakhi are divorced.....


Yahan rishte banna aur bigadna to pal bhar ka khel hai....

appney to yea jankari dey hee dee aak dono ka beha hon wala say per inka koi bharossa nahi hai(some times these are the publisity stunts) after releas of their Film GURU they might change their views hence please wait and watch. Till then my good wishes to both of them.

If you keep your location same as above:p , You will surely have your GK at a bit low because neither anyone from Earth nor Sky can reach you:D
 
Cuz i don't want unwanted STUFF n PEOPLE to reach me....so being at a Safest location-Space between Earth n Sky i pick what suits my dumb brain:p :o ;) :D

baat to sahi chal rahi hain..aise bade bade celebrities kam hi hote hain jo ek jagah tiken...agar Aish movies mein aana chhod de to shayad tik jaayen dono ek saath..otherwise they both will keep competing each other and in future we might hear some other news.....ab ye kaun jaane ki ye Jaya Bachchan ki tarah maan jaayegi...aur ye Abhishek thahra seedha as compared to Aishwarya.
