She died yesterday and no body have any clue about the attacker.

The family of 23-year-old nurse Preeti Rathi, who died yesterday after acid was thrown on her at a railway station in Mumbai, met Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil today and demanded a CBI inquiry into the case.
"He accepted our demand and said he would speak to Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Monday. We have been told that politicians forget their promises but we are hopeful that he will keep his word," the victim's father, Anand Singh Rathi, told reporters. He was accompanied by members from NGOs working for rehabilitation of acid attack victims.
Acid was thrown on Preeti by some unknown people as she got off the New Delhi-Mumbai Garib Rath Express at Bandra Terminus on May 2 to join her job as a nurse in the army hospital in Mumbai. She died yesterday in a hospital in Mumbai after an infection spread throughout her body. Preeti had been communicating with her parents by writing messages on pieces of paper after the attack.

It has been over a month since the incident but the Railway Police, who have been investigating the case so far, have not been able to trace the culprit yet.
The attack took place on a bustling railway platform. The platform and the station are covered by at least a dozen cameras and Bandra Terminus has a full-fledged railway police outpost. In spite of that the culprit managed to slip away.
Pragya Singh, representing an NGO called Stop Acid Attacks, told reporters, "RR Patil has assured us that he will set up a committee to look into the issue of regulating acid sale, which will have members from NGOs so that we can make our society safer for women."[/QU
When the person who did this is found, he should be hanged. Nurse is someone who saves lives, leave apart her occupation, if the person could not give honour to a human life, such a person does not deserve to live.
There is no reason that he should have taken her life, even if the girl did something wrong.
The Acid AttacksJust came accross the news of acid attack on a jat girl in bombay train Station
As soon as ms Rathi got down sombody threw acid on her face blinding her by one eye
Other family members also got injured, aunt sunita Dahiya, father amar Singh Rathi were with her.
If it is done so easily, even when she was with family members in a very crowded place
In my opinion, only effective deterance to this is, tough law
She died yesterday and no body have any clue about the attacker.

There is an urgent need to preserve "Jat blood". We already know, due to the warrior life of Jats and a continuous struggle for their existence, Jats had a hard time maintaining their families. An ill effect of this kind of life had a direct effect on the families and having fewer and fewer girl child.
We all know "Jats" in Haryana and Punjab and especially in rural area have very less girl child therefore some things should be practiced:
1.Female infanticide needs to be strictly banned.
2.Abuse of girls by their drunken familie member.
3. Marriages of Jat girls out of the community must be avoided as "Jats" have very less girls in their own community and lot of young men do not get married due to this scarcity of "Jat" girls.
We know the value of "Jat blood" and it should be preserved as it has been for ages.
Why the Jats feel hurt only when a Jat girl becomes an acid attack victim in Mumbai, where she had gone in connexion with her nursing trade. Being a great martial caste the Jats need to join hands to fights against such a barbarous, brutish and inhumane crime. The time has come that we should inculcate finer values in our children and our youth.

Jat familie values and the way of life is preserved by "Jat girls". We must honor them, they are sacred to our society. Just imagine the old times when such women were left with children and old men when their husbands died in wars. For every "Jat" life is a constant struggle of existence, lot of us have come out of villages, so we do not see the hardships a farmer went through to do agriculture and fighting wars in Army. These are the hardest jobs present out in human life. Present day farming is an industrialized farming but go back to the time when the farming was done in the crude old way, when a farmer was dependent on nature for his farming, agricultural implements were all crude, natural elements like snakes, wild animals dominated a farmers life, etc.
It was the will of these women that made our families exist and take us to the place where we are today. There fore we need to preserve our blood and make sure "Jat girls" stay safe in Jat community.
Does it make any difference poor soul was jat or non jat ?
Why only Jat blood need to be preserved ?
What caste , creed , color or damn community , this is a shameful n heinous act which has happened ?
Ram ji kare , no one has to go through this thing again ever .
God give peace to the poor soul and courage to family .
Bhai Inderjeet, if jat would have helped jat the condition of jats in this world would have been much batter, jat may help other community fellow but not jat this is a hard fact, exceptions leave apart, Jat always harm and insult jat, our chaudharys are bigger jats, so please donot expect any help from themविजयपाल जी ,समाजिक संस्थाएं तभी चलती हैं जब उनके पदाधिकारी और सदस्य गण , समाज को कुछ देने के विचार से आते हैं ।
