It is perfectly justified to hold a peaceful protest to highlight a grievance but looting , arson and destruction of public property is not acceptable.

I am sure it is some lumpen and outside elements that have infiltrated the protesters and are bringing a bad name to that Jats that need to be identified and taken care of.

These kind of activities of looting and incendiary may defame the social image of our community. Though Jats are not behind this but it is a big thing to be worried about as media never miss any chance to defame us.
Captain Pawan Kumar(a Jat from Jind and alumnus of JNU) died fighting for country in Pulbama.

This BJP govt is worst govt in Haryana's history. Seeds of hate and mistrust sown in Haryana too. Haryana use to be a peaceful state but not anymore. SHAME.

अब जबकि जाट आंदोलन की रणभेरी बज चुकी है तो इसकी गूंज हर देश के हर कोने तक पहुँचनी चाहिए। ऐसे आंदोलन रोज़-रोज़ नहीं होते। उत्तरप्रदेश जहाँ अगले साल चुनाव होने है वहाँ चौ• अजीत सिंह के पास अपनी खोयी राजनीतिक वापस पाने का सुनहरा मौका है। उनकी पार्टी द्वारा जाट आंदोलन का समर्थन अपेक्षित है। उम्मीद है कि वह मुज़फ्फरनगर दंगो वाली गलती नहीं दोहराएंगे। यूपी में उनका खुलकर आगे आना इस जाट आंदोलन को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए बेहद जरूरी है। जिस तरह से जाट नवयुवकों की जानें गयी है। अब कदम वापस खींचना समझदारी नहीं होगी।

कल वेस्टर्न यूपी के मुज़फ्फरनगर, मेरठ, मथुरा और आगरा में कुछ समय के लिए हाईवे जाम किये गये। भारतीय किसान यूनियन और चौधरी अजीत सिंह की अगुवाई वाली रालोद को इस आन्दोलन को और धारदार बनाना ज़रूरी है। जिससे सरकार को इस आंदोलन की गम्भीरता समझ आये।

वैसे अब तक जो भी घटनाक्रम हुए है इस आंदोलन में, वह कही न कही मुज़फ्फरनगर में हुए दंगो से भी मेल खाते दिखते है। बस चेहरे बदले है, सरकार बदली है जाटो को एकतरफ़ा करने की कोशिश वहां भी हुई थी यहाँ भी हो रही है।
वहाँ एक मंत्री के इशारे पर कार्यवाही हो रही थी, यहाँ भी एक सांसद पूरे आंदोलन के केंद्र में है। भूमिकाये बदली है इरादे नहीं। वहाँ भी जाट मरे यहाँ भी। वहाँ तो जाट आखिर में भारी बड़े सरकार पर भी और उन पर भी जो मंत्री की शह पर उनसे भिड़ गए थे। यहाँ परिणाम आने बाकी हैं। प्रशासन का रवैया वहाँ भी जाटो के खिलाफ था और यहाँ भी है।

यह वज़ूद की लड़ाई है वर्चस्व की नहीं। यह अपना हक़ पाने की लड़ाई है किसी का हक़ छीनने की नहीं। जिन घरो के चिराग बुझ गए उनका बलिदान हमारी आने वाली पीढ़ी के भविष्य में रौशनी लेकर आएगा।
जाट सीमा पर भी मरे, खेत में भी मरे और अब इस आन्दोलन में भी मरे यह कहाँ का इंसाफ है। हमारी देशभक्ति पर सवाल नहीं फिर हमारे हक़ पर सवाल क्यों? अगर यह आरक्षण इतना बुरा है तो सबके लिए बंद हो फिर केवल हमें ही क्यूँ इससे वंचित रखा जाये?
ये कौन होते है जाटो की सामाजिक हैसियत निर्धारित करने वाले। आइये कभी खेतो में निकालकर देखिए मेहनत क्या होती है। एक ज़िद है जो कुछेक बीघा जमीन में भी अपनी रोज़ी-रोटी ढूंढ रही है। इतनी ईमानदारी तो दुनिया के किसी पेशे में नहीं होगी जितनी खेती में है। यहाँ तो खुद खेत में काम करने वाल जाट अपनी मेहनत की कीमत तय नहीं कर पता।वह भी सरकार बताती है कि आपकी मेहनत की कीमत बस इतनी है जब फसलों के दाम तय किये जाते है।
अब अगर वह समाज में आगे बढ़ने के लिए अलग से मौका चाहता है तो इतना बवाल क्यूँ? हम सड़ने के लिए नहीं बने है। पिसने के लिए नहीं बने है। कब तक रोज़मर्रा की जिंदगी में ऐसे ही घिसटते रहेंगे।
सरकार यह क्यूँ नहीं सोचती कि क्यों किसान वर्ग को आरक्षण की जरूरत आन पड़ी। इसके लिए ज़िम्मेदार सरकार की नीतियां ही है। आज के जो हालात है उसमें खेती में गुजारा लगभग नामुमकिन हो चला है। किसान को लेकर चला आ रहा उपेक्षापूर्ण रवैया आज भी बदस्तूर जारी है। न तो पिछली सरकार ने और न ही इस सरकार ने किसानों की कोई सुध ली। जो सब्ज़बाग दिखाए गये थे फसलो के दामों को लेकर वो छूमंतर हो चुके है। यही वजह है कि इस कमेरे जाट समुदाय को आंदोलन में उतारना पड़ा। आखिर कब तक आस लगा के बैठे। आज की हालात में खेती से लागत निकल जाये, दो जून की रोटी मिल जाये वही बहुत है।
कृषि की ऐसी दुर्दशा के कारण ही आज जाटो को भी आजीविका के दूसरे विकल्प खोजने पड़ रहे है। महंगी फीस, महंगी कोचिंग का खर्च उठाना खेती पर निर्भर जाट समुदाय की हैसियत से बाहर है।

आरक्षण से उसे थोड़ा सहारा मिलेगा, नयी पीढ़ी पढ़ेगी, नौकरी मिलेगी तो पूरा जाट समुदाय आगे बढ़ेगा। आरक्षण की खिलाफत करने वाले इसे स्वाभिमान से जोड़कर देखते है। लेकिन कोई बतायेगा कि जैसे-जैसे खेती से नयी पीढ़ी कटती जा रही है, रोजगार है नहीं। ऐसे में आने वाली पीढ़ी के भटकने का खतरा नहीं है? क्या यह सही होगा जब हमारे लोग गलत कामो में पकडे जाने लगेंगे। सड़क किनारे तालो की चाबी बनाते नज़र आने लगेंगे? काम कोई बुरा नहीं लेकिन जो अकड़, जो चौधराहट आज है वह बचेगी क्या? फिर भी वो लोग इसे स्वाभिमान का नाम देंगे क्या?
वैसे आरक्षण कोई जादू की छड़ी नहीं है कि इसके मिलते ही जाट राजा बनने वाले है। लेकिन कम से कम आज जो हालात है उससे निकलने का एक सहारा तो मिलेगा ही। मेरे आपके जैसे कुछेक लोगो की इसकी ज़रुरत भले ही महसूस न हो, पर वो लोग जो पीछे छूट गए है यह उनको आगे बढ़ाने का एक ज़रिया बनेगा।
कोई जाटों के आरक्षण पर उंगली उठाये तो इस पर हीनता का अनुभव करने की ज़रुरत नहीं। हमें स्वार्थी बनना पड़ेगा अपने लिए नहीं बल्कि अपने उन भाइयों के लिए जो विकास की मुख्यधारा में पीछे छूट गए है। उन्हें आरक्षण के सहारे उबारना है। तभी जाट बढ़ेगा। क्योंकि एक ऎसे समाज में जहाँ समान अवसर नहीं है हमें और दानवीर बनने की ज़रुरत नहीं। अगर आरक्षण है तो जाटो का भी उस पर उतना ही हक़ है। नहीं तो यह फिर किसी के लिए न हो।
इसी संकल्प के साथ हमें अपनें जाट भाइयो के हाथ मजबूत करने की ज़रुरत है जो प्रशासन से भी लोहा ले रहे है और उन षडयंत्रकारियो से भी जो जाटो को बदनाम करने पर तुले हुए है।

यहाँ मेरठ में भी कल का दिन काफी हलचल भरा रहा | कल चौधरी चरण सिंह यूनिवर्सिटी ओर मेरठ कॉलेज के जाट छात्रों ने कई मुख्य मार्गो को जाम कर दिया | कई जगहों पर भारतीय जाट आरक्षण संघर्ष समिति के कार्यकर्ता भी छात्रों के साथ शामिल थे | हालाँकि रालोद का कोई बड़ा नेता या पदाधिकारी तो नहीं दिखा पर रालोद के छात्र संघटन के युवा नेता जरुर नजर आये |
एन एच - ५८ पर भी भयंकर चक्का जाम था| मुज़फ्फरनगर ओर दिल्ली हाईवे करीबन ५-६ घंटे जाम की चपेट में रहा | प्रसाशन हालाँकि ज्यादातर मौन ही ही रहा, बेगमपुल जैसी व्यस्त जगह पर छात्र संघटनो की आम राहगीरों से झडपे/ मार पिटाई भी हुई |

अजीत सिंह का मौन अभी भी मेरी समझ से बहार है | मुज़फ्फरनगर दंगो में भी उन्होंने यही रुख अपनाया हुआ था ओर इतने उग्र आन्दोलन के बाद भी अभी तब रालोद या अजीत सिंह की तरफ से कोई ठोस कदम या बयान देखने को नहीं मिला है |

It seems Haryana BJP is breaking up. Anil Vij offers his resignation after dispute with other minister. Khattar asked him to meet at CM residence. I think the issue is amount of money given to the people who lost their lives.
 
One person responsible for this is Rajkumar Saini. He needs to be put behind bars for the BJP government to revive.

Kurukshetra, February 19
Raj Kumar Saini, Kurukshetra MP, has threatened to “fight back” against the Jat protesters if the government fails to bring normalcy in the state by Sunday.

In a telephonic interview with The Tribune today, Saini said he would unite volunteers from 35 communities for a “direct action” against the protesters.

Saini said he was in Visakhapatnam and maintaining a close watch on the situation in the state.
“The state government should clear roads and rail tracks. Jats have created ruckus in the state for an illegal demand of reservation and it is completely unacceptable to us,” said Saini.

“When the state government is duty-bound to maintain law and order, why should one make an appeal to the mobsters? The OBC Brigade (formed by Saini to oppose Jat reservation demand) is ready to confront the Jats. There is no provision in the Constitution that gives share of reservation benefits of the OBC quota to the Jats. The rights of the socially marginilised section cannot be compromised for political gains,” said Saini.

Following a dressing down by the top BJP leadership for his anti-Jat rhetoric, Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini has dropped the plan of holding a meeting of the OBC Brigade.

In-charge of BJP’s Haryana unit Anil Jain in New Delhi on Saturday had informed the media a show-cause notice would be served on Saini for his alleged public utterances against Jats.

Saini had called a meeting of his supporters on Monday at Theme Park, the largest open public spaces in the city, to decide ‘plan of action’ to oppose the ongoing Jat agitation.

He had warned a ‘direct action’ by the OBC Brigade if the Haryana government failed to take action against protesting Jats in the state. The first time MP Saini is the leading voice against any proposal to extend OBC benefits to the Jat category. He was directly naming the Jat BJP ministers in Haryana and the Centre as alleged designers of the Jats agitation.

 MP had been naming finance minister Capt Abhimanyu, agriculture minister OP Dhankar and Union rural development minister Birender Singh for instigating Jats to block railway traffic.

Saini’s personal staff told the media on Saturday the proposed meeting had been ‘postponed’ and the new date will be decided later. The local MP is at Visakhapatnam and did not respond to the calls made by The Tribune for his comments.

On Friday, he had told The Tribune on phone to ‘fight back’ the Jats to free the blocked roads and railway tracks.
The leader had formed OBC Brigade, a front claimed to be supported by members of 35 communities, to oppose Jats demand of job reservations.

Saini wanted rights of reservation restricted to the existing OBC castes and had threatened on Friday a direct confrontation with Jats by the OBC Brigade to ensure smooth movement of public transport.

Meanwhile, the Jats held peaceful protest in support of their demands at five different spots in the district. Traffic at these points was diverted to other routes and no untoward incident was reported from the district.
 
Bhiwani MP’s house vandalised in Tosham

A group of non-Jat supporters vandalised Bhiwani-Mahendragarh MP Dharambir Singh’s house in Tosham today and torched nearly 20 vehicles, including Haryana Roadways bus, parked in a bus depot.
 
Peace march - A good move. More people should join in.

To restore normalcy, several social organisations, including the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), carried out a peace march here, urging people to maintain social harmony. Local mediapersons held a meeting and also took out a peace march.

RSS leaders told the media they would move to villages and appeal to protesters to withdraw their agitation in the interest of society.

RTI activist Capt Pawan Kumar Anchal blamed the state government for failing to control the agitation. He said people had been living under fear.

Khaps appeal for calm
Two prominent khaps — Sheoran and Sangwan — on Sunday resolved to continue their peaceful agitation for reservation. They, however, criticised violent incidents in other parts of the state. Meetings were held in several villages for continuing with peaceful agitations.
