I don't think such segregation can take place. Non jaat faction will be divided too. It's a matter of time. People like Saini,Bishnoi will fight each other for non jaat leader in the state. It will be a hotchpotch there too.

Jat community is being targeted by vested interests and thugs like Raj Kumar Saini and Roshan Lal Arya. An atmosphere of hatred and bad-blood is being created by them by openly abusing the Jat community from public platforms. This is despite the fact that Arya is out on bail and still indulging in this rabble-rousing. In the first place, it is for the courts to notice that he is violating the bail conditions.

In this backdrop, instead of indulging in name-calling amongst ourselves, can we all put our heads together and chalk out what needs to be done to control the damage that has been done and on the course ahead??

I think instead of chalking out strategies online on a public platform, it would be better to have a public meeting on CHAUPAL for which I would suggest that all members who can give practical, peaceful and workable solutions can get together at a pre-decided time. Chaupal would ensure that only members are able to login and freely discuss and deliberate on what, how and why things took the shape that they actually did and how can we work towards rebuilding the image of Jats tarnished by the nefarious acts of thugs like Saini and Arya. The only ground rule that I would expect is that there should be no personal remarks or comments amongst members and that decorum is maintained so that we are able to reach somewhere constructively.

I especially look forward to the contribution of elderly members from the community. I propose Sunday, 01 May, 11 am as the time for the Chaupal meeting. Suggestions invited!!

It seems BJP govt. is going with full throttle against Jats. Sedition case against Yashpal Malik and 125 others, suspension of many police officers, delay in putting bill under schedule 9. They have already deployed the CRPF in 7 districts in the wake of fresh agitation by Jats. Still no action on Raj kumar Saini when Prakash singh himself said in an interview that it was Saini who provoked Jats.

BJP will keep alive reservation issue until next election for polarising non jaat votes. So much hatred is spread against jaats in Haryana. Media houses run by BJP are shaping public opinion against jaats.

It seems there is no one who has anything positive to say or do about Jats, be it the Politicians of all parties (BJP, Congress, etc all alike), the media, bureaucracy, judiciary and the public in general.

God forbid, if there is any violence this time thanks to such anti-national elements like Raj Kumar Saini, Roshan Lal Arya, etc, the common man will have to face the brunt. And like it happened the last time, it is the Jats who will face the brunt - in terms of loss of lives, property and also equally important loss of reputation.

Thugs like Saini and Arya would send their goons in the garb of Jat agitators and do all kinds of wrong things and the media will lose no time in blaming Jats for the acts of these non-Jat goons.

The govt. is totally silent on the anti-national activities of Saini and Arya and the courts have given and extended bail to Arya despite him still abusing Jats from public platforms across the state.

Where do the Jats turn to for redressal of their grievances when the political leadership, bureaucracy, judiciary, media, etc turn a deaf ear. I guess the last hope for the Jats in that case would be to approach the United Nations (United Nations Human Rights Commission).

This bias against Jats has been evident all along - be it the reports of Haryana State Backward Classes Commission which refuses to consider Jats as backward and at the same time is unequivocal in supporting reservation for the economically and educationally advanced communities such as the Sainis. The bias was also evident in the recent Prakash Singh Committee report which took the claims of non-Jats against Jats on face value without the requirement of asking for any evidence. Crores of money was claimed as compensation by such non-Jats who had nothing to lose in the first place. Murthal was a myth created by the media to kill the character/reputation of Jats further. Everyone did their bit in bringing down the Jats.

The present scenario is a classic example of alienating an entire community against the national mainstream. From the soldier guarding the motherland and the farmer feeding the teeming hunger, Jats are now made out to be anti-social and anti-national. Jats have always been the vanguard for protecting the Hindu society and national borders. In case the nation still allows this alienation of the Jat society, it would be the biggest self-goal that the nation does.

Finally, my request to fellow members is that no matter what, we have to remain peaceful, vigilant (gather evidence, photos, videos of non-Jat goons), law abiding citizens. We have to do everything possible to not play into the hands of Saini and Arya, however hard they might try to push us into the corner. We have to overcome this challenge through peaceful and legal means even if it requires us going to the United Nations for it.

ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL!

After reading major bullets in report one can say the violence was started by Non-Jats in most of the cases. The background was all prepared before the agitation started. I understand Jats were protesting and doing Dharnas for reservation peacefully but what were Non-jats so agitated, why would they plan to fight and don't knock the High court door (as their so called leader Saini said on Jat reservation issue). One thing I noted from the report that most of the Non Jats were Sainis, Balmikis, Rajputs and Punjabis.

Why not Govt. ordered an enquiry on who mobilises so many Non-Jats? who were their leaders?

Now it is not a fight for getting "Reservation", it is prestigious issue now. Govt was/is in no mood to even listen to our demands. Don't go far, MC elections held recently gave a clear message it is Jats vs 35.5 biradaris. Yes I am counting secular jats in 0.5. With such deployment in Jat strong holds government has showed it colors.
Not so easy time ahead

Don't worry that much brother. Things change over the time and it's a nature rule. We need to adapt to the change. Now dynamics of politics have changed. And it won't be like that all the time. It will keep on changing with time. 35 Biradari type thing is not that easy as we think. There will be many factions in those 35 biradari also. Politicians know the game very well. Jats will need to vote strategically. In the present scenario, Chautala has become weaken. He is now confined to Sirsa, Hansi, Hisar districts only. With inclusion of Kuldeep Bishnoi in congress, game will be more interesting. 35 Biradari vote will also split between Congress and BJP.

There is already too much fight going on within BJP also for leadership. Its a new party and it got into power with the help of Modi popularity and it is still settling. Modi Popularity is also slowly diminishing. It is no longer a Modi factor. Bihar elections defeat has changed all about Modi wave. That's why Modi was not the face in Assam elections and he was downplayed in BJP's Assam campaigns. State leader presence matter a lot these days. BJP does not have a strong state leader in Haryana and next year state elections are very crucial. In Punjab, it is highly unlikely that BJP/SAD will come to power again. UP elections will be very interesting and could decide fate on mainstream parties like BJP and Congress at national level. And then Gujarat elections results year after will be very important. So there are lot of factors which will influence next assembly elections in Haryana.

Things will always keep on changing in today's world. Gone are those days when one party used to dominate all the time. Nowadays its very dynamic and fluid. Yes one thing is sure in current times is that Jats are loosing some ground slowly in politics despite being a majority.Politicians will always try to split Jat votes using their political arithmetic. But that does not mean that Jats have lost all their relevance. Being a majority, Jats will continue to play their vital role in deciding power. After all it is a democracy and majority voice cannot be ignored or denied.

just heard that 93 Police Inspectors has been transferred within Haryana. I smell another conspiracy here. Any reason why? I guess the govt. will give reason of forthcoming agitation on 5th June but whats the actual reason?

At the same time High Court adjourned hearing till 6th June on Govts. plea for stay on Jat reservation
