Virender bhai, who doesn't want greenery around him..... and offcourse sensex is not the only parameter of prgress but it is also the fact that decline in agricultural land has by no means reduced the annual crop yield of India..... the crux of the matter is agriculture base is shifting away from Haryana, and that is bound to happen, that is the price Haryana has to pay because of it's proximity to National Capital

I appreciate your views...Especially your idea that unfertile land should be used for setting up industries....but trust me even if Government dont acquire land(people feel happy when their land is acquired),do u think people still be invovled in agriculture?Your theory may work for some people but not all....But its very interesting and useful thought you have shared.May this happen...Moreover even agriculture is going to be commercialized soon. The reason is now farmer are not growing wheat and paddy but are trying to grow such flowers, fruits, plants etc which help them make lot of money.Ofcourse its human nature to think of earning more money but i think it may also disturb the old agricultural crop cycle that existed. We have to be focussed on the growth of wheat and paddy as these are the essentials for us.Jab gehu na hoga toh roti kaha se hogi, aur jab roti hi na hui toh phir khayenge kya?So i hope such schemes should be implemented which encourages the farmers to grow wheat and paddy.

I agree with you Deepika Jee... Every coin has two facets. The commercialization of agriculture has its own advantages and disadvantages. We have seen that as most of the land has been acquired, Now people (especially younger generation) is not interested in farming because they don't get expected "return of investment". "Jab Kisaan ko kheti se kuchh milega hi ni to wo isme haath pair kyun marna chahega, wo to chahega hi ki uski land acquire ho jaye." Actually government should inspire farmers and it can be done by introducing a proper system. "Ab logo ke pass zammene kam rah gayi hain... thodi zameen par irrigation ka kharcha karne ke baad bhi return kuchh khas ni milta hai... Bada zamindara to lagbhag khatam hi ho gaya hai... Agar chakbandi ki tarah hi koi scheme laga kar sari land ko ek saath irrigation ke liye use kiya ja sake then it will be a better idea, because in that case 'roi' will be more. saath me govt ko wheat ki kharid value bhi badha deni chahiye... isse kisaan ko jyada paisa milega or kheti karne ke liye inspire hoga..... isse do fayde honge.. ek to log wheat bhi ugana pasand karenge or saath me unke pass option bhi hogi ki wo agar koi or crop lagana chahe to wo bhi laga sakte hain (like fruits, plants which u have mentioned earlier) ... Jab tak wheat ugane me unko profit ni milega tab tak wo uski taraf inspire ni honge after all money matters.. and this can be done by govt after increasing the purchase price of wheat...
