Dear Tewatia ji,

I know India ke bahar aake breath karne ke liye bhi $s chahiye...aisa to apna india hi hai jahan paisa kam aur jugad zyada chalta hai....
Anyways it would be great if i can get some helpful information from you regarding this.
Thanks

if you are looking for GOOD indian lawyer... and luckily you really find one, then in my opinion he would definitely suggest you "Saare jaha se achchaa Hindustan hamara"

I thought you can apply online if you go to Canadian immig website..its a simple step wise process..isnt it?

no, you cannot apply online. this seemingly simple step wise process isn't simple as is apparent.

the lawyers/agents, often charge exorbitant fees and they do nothing so special. people, esp in india are often mistaken that they have some contacts or some sort of magic wand that can help them through with immigration. that's a wrong fallacy.

it just requires a simple experienced guidance, to take care of some glitches... thats all. you want to kick-off the jobs of those agents in recession times ?

I do not think the people need help of agents if they are educated. Read all instructions carefully and provide the information in one go as requested in the forms.

I meant that if you follow the steps given online ....not really applying online..my bad..
Nahin mera koi irada nahin hai to take away jobs from these agents, just wanted to pitch in as recently I applied for a Canadian visa for an upcoming conference in Canada and that made me go through their immigratin/visa etc website which I found very explicit.
But yeah, agree with you if you can find someone experienced to guide then its certainly easier..so you are doing a great job :)

Thanks...!!

Thanks everyone for sharing so many suggestions and information as well.
Yeah actually canadian immigration site gives us almost all the information applying for the immigration but i guess still some information is left out which either any agent can tell or anyone who has already gone through the process.

So i am looking for some lawyer/Agent for my sister and brother in law who are in India and are not in IT.So may be any agent can help them better.

Anyways i really appreciate that you all shared so much of information that can help many people here.

tks, just passing on my experience.

there is lot of difference in formalities when you're applying for a normal visa and proper immigration. proper immigration involves some tedious checks as well nd police clearance. the identity check is so extensive, that you should'nt be surprised, if they even go to your school level record checks.

one advise for all applicants - dont try to fake any answer and/or document/experience.

If you provide correct information in first instance then there will be no contadiction of information because there are check and balances within forms. Police clearance is very simple and it is provided by the passport office, I do not know if the procedures has changed for it now. My personal view; Most of these agents have poor knowledge of immigration and they just misguide people for vested interest that is my experience in immigration department and federal court. Thanks

The only key issue is matching your resume with the NOC (national occupation code). Most cases get rejected because of this disparity. You can call me and it would be free service.
