Can you please tell me, what is future of B. Pharma in the light of latest situation ; there are so many pharma colleges come into existance.

I am a Pharmacy graduate and M.tech in Nanoscience and Technology.
I completed my B.Pharm in the year 2006 but after 2006 so many colleges have started. So career in Pharmacy is not secure that much.
I personally feel that B.Pharm is of no use without a M.Pharm or MBA.
It becomes very difficult to make career with B.Pharm only.
After B.Pharm if we go to some industry the salary is very low and good companies rarely hire B.pharm graduates. They give prefrences to M.Pharma only.
As compared to Engnn courses B.Pharm is not that good, nowadyas B.tech engnn are paid well as there are so many IT companies.
Also with regard to working abroad merely a B.Pharm is not enough. A B.Pharm graduate should get registered in that country and process of registration in counties like UK, US is vey time consuming and expensive. It'll take 2-3 years.
I don't want to demotivate anybody. Success also depends on an individuals own capabilities and hardwork.
Any student wishing to persue a B.Pharm should be aware of all the opportunities available like R & D, Lecturership, Industry, MRship, KPO, clinical Research etc so that he can start preparing from the beginning (what he should do after completing the B.Pharm.)
