i have seen sombody in philips semiconductor singapur or somewhere but now i m enable to find him..

This is what I have noticed about our people living overseas. With the exception of one or two, everyone strugles to get the title of the most selfish person alive.

The one or two helpful people that you will come across, will do more than what could be humanly possible to get you help.
 
kahan bahisaab muje to koi asar nahi dikh raha koi bhi reply nahi ker raha sumit ki baat sahi hai sab note laptne me lage hain ..

Sir ji i m not saying ki nobody is helping i was saying ki nobody who is in VLSI Domain and working overseas is not replying bcs i wanted to know that how i can apply for jobs in same domain in US ,canada,singapur.

hi all,

i was looking for professionals working in VLSI domain on JATLAND.
i have joined Tata Elxsi Limited, Bangalore 3 months back .... and need a lot of input from seniors working in same domain. Tata Elxsi is working on FPGA based designs in front end, so i will also be working in the same for next two years ... as i have signed a bond of 2 years here ... :o

Rahul Poonia ji ... can you tell me on which things i must concentrate most so that i can grow at fast pace in my career. and how is this domain FPGA. will i face some difficulty if i switch to ASIC design ... in which most of the product based companies are working ....

i am looking forward to join any product base company like intel, philips, amd etc. after completing bond here ....... or may be earlier if i get some good oppertunity ;) ...

I was working in SASKEN communication(service provider for TI india) Bangalore and now i am working in STMicroelectronics Gnoida which is a product based comp. and I am into Physical Design.i don't know frontend much bcs from starting i m working in backend. but i think there shd be no problem in switching from FPGA to ASIC. it will be good if you switch for ASIC or Low power wireless designs asap.
 
I dont know anyone from your field buddy. But, I guess you are getting some responses.

can i switch to backend also after working 3-4 years in front end ... i have only a little idea about the kind of work in backend. i have used micro magic, irsim and pspice in one of my labs during PG diploma in VLSI design from CDAC Pune. so i have a basic idea of these tools .... will that be enough for switching to backend ..... and how is the future/growth in front end, if you have any idea ... backend i know is quite good :)
