if we will compare different school board or universities in India, we can find that the marks scored in one university or board are always more than marks scored in other board due to which a student has to suffer which getting admissions in higher classes.

so shouldn't there be any system to bring all board or universities at same level?

moreover, if we will compare marks scored by students in same board /university over different years, average marks scored each year are increasing.due to which, people applying for a same job have to suffer as the age group of people applying for job is very wide and they lose marks when merit list is made.

so shouldn't there be any system to accommodate these factors while making merit list?

The companies and universities do have several selection criteria in addition to the marks scored by a candidate to accommodate for the diversity of backgrounds and experience. Based on these criteria, they create groups to select from.
On another note, a percentile score is better than a percentage score in gauging how a student has fared in any university, irrespective of the board/region.

I dont think that's the case with all universities.take example of DU.they just put one cut off list for all students no matter from which board a student is.

I dont believe cut off is the right system for students. One of the reasons is stated above and other reasons like subjects taken by people differ on difficulty level, a scholar need not be the smartest person etc. matter a lot too.

DU, or other universities should adopt JEE or UPSC model, written test followed by mains/interview to judge a person beyond the bookish skills.
