JATLAND is like a heaven for all the JATs to contribute their ideas ,to know the persons of our community from different states or u can say countries who have put up their mark in their respective field.

What a great gathering of JATS from different fields on this SITE !! So proudy & appreciable. But there is one thing which has always haunted me, whereever i am . That is to search out the persons who are from JAAT college BARAUT.
I am damn sure i will find some guys & Gals here who have spent a little but prominent part of their life in the JAAT college.So, Please reply through this thread . Let us share some past memories of our intermediate & graduation .

Thought I am not from Jat College Baraut, my brother spent 6 years there. He did his BA and MA economics from there. I used to visit him and it was real fun interacting with his gang of friends. I have heard many stories about some of the college faculty. I forget the name of the one who was from Barwala. There were so many stories around him. No doubt, Jat College Baraut is a very unique institution of western UP. Our college in Shamli ( RK College) at best is only a smaller cousin of Jat College Baraut.

Dear Prashant Ji,
It is a pleasure to let you know that I am from Jat College. I did my Intermediate and B.Sc. from there. I was president of Jat College Student's Union in 1962-63. I did my Ph.D. from Canada, and I am well settled here in Amerca. I am from a small village, Sankalputhi in Dist, Baghpat.
I know of about 30 jats here in America that are graduates from that great institution.

.I finished my graduation from JAAT college in 2000. I think u are from near about 70's Batch. I am always looking for ur guidance & ur blessings. If u don't have any problem can u tell me the name of ur native village??

kalkhande sir,
pehle main soch raha tha ki aap Haryana se hai. per jab aapne SHAMLI se graduation ki hai, to aap shamli ke aas paas ke hi hai. Shamli ke pass kalkhande ke 4 villages hai.

SIMBHALKA, BANAT, TITAULI, LILON-KHEDI. Aaap kis gaon se hai??

Aur BARWALA ke jis teacher ki aap baat kar rahe hai. Uska naam MAHAVIR BARWALA hai.
waise we bahut din pehle retire ho gaye the aur expire bhi ho gaya hai. Per unke kisse aaj tak bhi famous hai.

Jat College

I too did not study at Jat College, Baraut, but my brother did his graduation and post graduation from there. My two sister-in-law are BSc/Msc from there, and My fufajee and father-in-law of my brother are faculty there :)

How's that for family connections to this college ;)

Some more tabloid info: The ex-principal Dr. Malik was US PhD, could be the only one in the whole Merrut University.

I am from Simbhalka. My mamas are from Barwala. As you can see, we Kalkhande form the ring around Shamli...hahahahaa...one can not avoid us while enetring Shamli...LOL

Hi Prashant,

Maine bhi Jat College me 6 years spend kiye hai. Mere bade bhai ne bhi Jat college se B.Sc. ki thi. It was really a great experience. But It is unfortunate to see that Jat college is loosing its reputation and quality of the education now. Not only Jat College whole Jat land (western UP) is not in the right direction in case of eduction.....

Currently we are in Gurgaon. My village is Bitawdha near Budhana (if I m not wrong) not very far from your village.
 
Jat College Baraut- A Premier Institution In The Name Of Jats

It is very surprizing that you did not got communication from old students of Jat college.Just yesterday I was at Jat college baraut to conduct M.Sc.Prev Botany exam after a span of 29 long years.I was astonished to see the changes in college layout, buildings etc.My two more brothers are the alumini of the famous ( take it in any way) Jat College.My elder brother Dr Anil singh, pediatrician ( i hope that this technical word may be correct), presently Sr Medical Supdt., BHEL, Haridwar;my younger brother Dr Alind Kumar,MD,MRCP,Nephrologist in Rammayah Medical College Banglore and my self Associate Director at DARL, DRDO,Pithoragarh.All of us enjoyed golden days in JVIC and Degree college during 1968-1977 period.I am aware of some of brilliant students of our college holdiing various senior IAS and IPS positions in central and state govt. you may be aware that Jat College has the proud of cultivating 04 VC's in the country.Details may be collected from the members if desired. My name is Priyanka Tomar. I studied in JAAT College, Baraut. I spent 7 yrs there. I did my schooling as well as degree course means from 9th to 12th then BSc from there. I belong to Kishanpur Baral, almost 12 kms frm baraut.At present m involved in software development activities at Delhi

Shimbhalka HAryaane mein TAUUUU
Shamli ke dhore naa, ar mere dad is also frm JAt college.

Haryana me samalkha hai Vikas..
Simbhalka is near Shamli, the first village on Shamli Budhana Road..
