A liberal minded person is not a bad choice. But he/she must be elected by majority of the members. If majority are conservative, they would like a conservative candidate to moderate their posts, I think.

moderator ko ulhanae dae ke apnae aap ko ban karwana hae kya? Even a real judge can send a person to jail etc if he/she insults the judge/court.
 
I think a moderator should be mature, judgmental, unbiased, should not keep grudge against anybody, and more importantly thick skinned! Members will keep blaming mods every now and then. It really doesn’t matter if mod is actively participating or not in discussion. Also a Mod must possess good communication skills, he/she should avoid responding in arrogant manner, when members contact for some issues.

What is the remady available agains a moderator who due to his personal reasons like jeaulacy, ego, weakness to reply, complex, or some other such reasons removes/adits some bodys post, what is the organisational structure of the jatland, who appoints/remove moderators and on what grounds.I had no problem earlier with any mod but recently I have noticed one odd mod who is totally immature, ill behaved, uneducated, uncultured, totally biased, disrespectful and totall unfit to hold such appointment, regards

I suggest you should poll members whether they would like to have an election for choosing moderators. Depending on the result, the JL administration can be requested.

i know its off topic but since that thread is closed i wanted to inform you that jatsikh bhi hotte hai.aur sar dakkar kar haryana ki aurate bhi rakhti hai apne baddo buddo ke aage.sar p chasme chada k to tu jatni bane koni par sar p chunni leke er sikh culture ko apnne life me incorporate karke me apni originality khoyu koni.I did not want to get personal with you .but you made me to.
