I agree with him (Sumit) that we should use decent language while addressing General Singh, he is still chief of our armed forces. We should not drag the issue of Jat or Non-Jat because it has no relevance to the topic under discussion. It is not easy to fight with sharks in current govt., Gen Singh has really guts to do that.

Brother Sumit, as you know that it is easy to comment but we are forgetting that comments without knowing the whole situation/all circumstances/facts may not be correct. I donot think his approach was wrong axcept two small points which I have mentioned earlier also, His taking help from community members of parliament, who met the PM and secondly he should have resigned immediately after the judgement/advice of SC, BUT STILL i BELIEVE HE IS THE BEST JUDGE AND MUST HAVE ACTED CORRECTLY AS PER THE SITUATION.

How is that? MMS is a honest man and our present serving PM , till date no dishonesty has been proved against him in the court , what decorated words are being used for him on this site as well as in the entire country? have you ever objected over them.. Likewise there are many persons here who don't think of VK singh a good man in their eyes..so what' wrong if their wrath is coming out?...Please don't impose moral policing here..Apart from that , no-one answered about Raka bhai statement..if Dalbeer singh suhaag was so corrupt why the general had recommendation for him at the first hand?..why this man is waking up after 1 year because he knows that he will be unable to save this post further?.....there is a great lobbying against jat officers in army...and the target is..no jat must ever serve as a general...first punjabi generals demoted jats, now this thakur is playing the same tricks... and our jat brothers are playing in their hands at this site too..bashing out their own men!

Brother, your feelings are sweet, logical and some what correct also, but remember these are feelings, non of us know suhag case, including you, so commenting on that may not be correct, secondly may I know who was punjabi who demoted jats and who jat brothers are playing in their hands at this site, However, I agree with you about liberty of expression.

fateh ji..It is quiet evident in recent decades that punjabis have dominated in Indian army as far as high ranks are concerned..for example, general arora , general kapoor..these punjabis have always created the circumstances that only punjabi serve at the highest post..For example if a punjabi and a Jat are on the same rank..a punjabi will be promoted in such a way that he will have a bright chance to serve as a general in future..this date of birth of VP singh and whole drama came at top to make Bikram singh the next general..and general kapoor had bricked up for this..punjabi's lobby is strongest in army...can u please answer why any Jat could not be a general even many of them got retired from Lt. general posts? don't u agree that casteism is on rampant in army..don't u agree that punjabis and other castes try to sideline Jats in army?...and yes we are playing in thier hands..as we are bashing our own men..as an enquiry was set up against Lt. general suhaag an dhe came clean out of it. what was the point in targeting him again?
and these views of mine have cultivated after listening from some of my relatives/friends who are serving as captain and above..I don't vow that i have all internal information

Whatever you think about a person whether it is good or bad, you can describe in a decent language. I am not the Moderator of this forum and hence less concerned what is written elsewhere in discussions. I raised the question of decency because I initiated this discussion and want to keep it clean and not to be taken over by sub-topics which get generated during discussion such as: Enquiry of Lt. Gen Suhag?, inter-casts rivalry at top level in Army etc.......... I will request that pay attention to the suggestion of Mr. Kharb that do not beat around the bush, please write only when you have some source to substantiate your information.

Third, what kind of information do you name as "substantiate".. any article written by a renowned author?.. news circulating in media?...how can you assure about taht news to be 100% correct?.. I am saying that VK singh allegations are fake on Suhaag..please give me the "substantiate" proof that these are not fake

I am very happy that you take so much interest in the defence service and defence personnel, but dear difference is that you are making your openion based on others info/openion, secondly dear where punjabi do not dominate from peon to highest post, they are more sucessful than others due to their hard work, efficiency, good behaviour, flexible nature, different attutude towards life and values in life, CASTISM IS VERY LESS IN THE aRMY IN COMPERISION TO THE CIVIL, punjabis and other castes try to side line jats every where, I donot think, jats are playing in their hands and bashing jat fellows, there may be one odd case due to some self reasons some incidents may have happened but such thing donot happen only in Army, it can be any where in any organisation, Jat so far in Army has not come up for the post of chief, the main reason is self( capability of an individual), lack of unity, and good behaviour in our community, so why we blame others, Dear, please donot forget that Gen singh only recommended suhaag for promotion, so we cannot call him anti jat but may be some technical/legal problem faced by chief due to which he has forwarded the complaint against suhaag bu a MP, to the CBI, friend I personally know the chief from our training days as cadets in IMA, i CAN SAY THAT AFTER cARRIYAPA AND tHAMYA, he is the best chief our Army had, professionally, as a person and as an officer.
