Article by foreign media on haryana, khap and women

NDTV posted this article of "The newyork times" today... All going negative.. don't understand what sort of people media talks that it always gives a negative impresion about khap and haryana. ..is social environment changing there?...is young gen. seeing the jat culture as a bloat?........haryana has become a devil..and every tom,dick and harry is throwing garbage on khap and haryana...and see the comments of people....full of hatred against haryana.....i haven't seen the such a bad image of any region, soicla organization in past few years..what is happening?

ndtv, timesof india had portrayed us bad but now it has reached to amercia..don't you think it is really a serious threat about our people....?..even in foreign , we will be seen as barbaric monster..female crushers like talibani.......?..

Everyone is playing kinda smart, when people can't harm you directly they do it indirectly, such malign is a live example. This is a serious issue and should be addressed at the earliest. What is more painful it that some of our people not opposing to it. Any such comparision is absurd, and khaps are an internal part of our culture who are with us for our betterment.
 
Khap according to me is an advisory body comprised of learned community seniors. In every culture, sane people seek advice of their seniors in crucial matters of life and we Jats have a plus point that all of this is professionally organized by our forefathers in form of Khaps for us. The KHAP also bring all of us on the same platform most of the time even after lot of differences in our community.

Now NDTV/CNN-IBN or etc , I really don't expect anything else from them because these so called intellectuals and Pseudo-seculars harmed our culture even more than Mughals or other invaders . They are leftist or pro-west and work relentlessly to defame , demean & ruin Indian culture all the time.
 
May be we should paste a link to Jatland in the comments in the article so that the world can see how different the mindset of our community is from what is being portrayed by the media.

Honestly I dont blame them but blame Khaps and their leadership. We know this media management issue has been existing for long but what steps have Khap taken? Media, or anyone will not change their stance until Khaps make an effort to engage more with them and be more transparent and punish people who give stupid statements like Chowmein one.


As an ethical media practice no media publishes any article without contacting the party involved(and NDTV religiously follows it), and what is happening is they reach out to any ABC khap member who is wanting to promote himself and ends up giving a bad image via a bad statement.


Khap needs media management, designated spokesperson who are sensible enough to show the real picture, not the one media wants to see to create sensationalism.
