I think that Rajasthan needs a separate discussion thread. You grown-up guys keep discussing who is good or bad but thrill-lovers like me need a thread involving questions such as
Which party will win how many seats in Rajasthan ?
Caste composition of Rajasthan assembly or more importantly, how many Jat MLAs will make it to legislative assembly ?
Would power of Meena increase or decrease after next election ?
Results/competition in key constituencies/ likely candidate in key constituencies
Who will emerge as tallest Jat leader in Rajasthan ?
I am sure that it's surely going to be a fest. And come on guys, it's RAJASTHAN. 5 year back, some news-person said that people of Rajasthan prefer thrill over development when it comes to election, obviously we curse politician for development work but that after election. At time of election we forget all those development things and immerse in game of numbers.

It was not Kejriwal who got RTI , many people have worked hard for years for same , Rather I do not see any effort from Kejriwal to get same implemented

Actually, he received the Magsaysay Award for precisely this - getting it implemented at the grass roots and setting an example by getting valuable info via the RTI. I was mistaken in assuming he helped bring RTI. RTI was already in place, he just helped common people use it and reduce corruption by his own efforts.

Moving away from the animal metaphors, Kejriwal was active in the social arena even before the Lokpal movement. I am not an expert on IAC and its workings but my guess is that they all came together, joined forces under Anna and chose him as the public face as people looked up to him. Later they diverged on key aspects of their future strategy and parted ways. Doesn't really mean he 'bit his Guru's hand'. Its wrong to judge Kejriwal purely on the basis of his parting from Anna Hazare.
 
The grapevine(metaphor) says Kejriwal always had political ambitions. He used Anna as a face to launch himself. Before than it is also said he tried bargaining with Congress govt for a seat in one of the institutions. We all know his leadership style and his vision.

I am not judging him on his partying ways with anna, Anna himself judged him.

Who is this metaphorical grapevine? What is wrong with having political ambitions? All these insinuations are emerging from established political parties.

The Alexander quote on sheep/lion is also quite silly. If you really want a lion, why not go for Modi..
 
He is a self proclaimed lion, to me and most sane people who look beyond Hindutva he is more of a wolf who is cunningly positioning himself as a lion.

Having said that, I would also mention that I actually dont see anyone to be called a lion today in Indian politics.

On the quote, whats so silly about it? I feel it is quite true, the morale of an army does depend on the leader.

It is silly in the context it was used.

And I was being sarcastic in asking you why not Modi? Wolf/lion - both are predators. Only thing Lion conveys is aggression or strength. What is so great about a lion in terms of leadership qualities? Lion is not known to lead any other animal - it barely manages to get along with another lion.

Why would we want a lion anyways in Indian politics? What hunting mission does India need to go on?

This is not a jungle where politicians and parties have to be equated to animals likely donkeys, lions or wolves. It is as sad as the other objectionable material on Congress and its leaders posted on the internet.

You can start this thread giving an input on various points which you listed in your post

I somehow feel Jatland can play a more important role in Jat politics of Rajasthan as many of our members are directly in touch with top Jat leaders of Rajasthan .

Can we suggest a strategy that can take care of Jat political interests in Rajasthan.
 
Bhai comparision se jayda jaruri hai ki National or International level pe kaun jyada safegaurd kar rha hai. Its a time when we talk about less bad. Ideal scenario where you talk of rational people is something out of picture these days. Modi badiya se ak bekar se ye to wo khud acha janta hai par wo auro se acha hai is bat me koi do rai nhi hai.

What a great quote!! I am totally convinced now that you have been blinded by the congress philosophy. Kyuon ki ab tak sabse jayada muft ka unhone hi khaya hai.

Time for you to start doing pranayam, as history is the witness that only hard and sincere work succeeds.

Well, on the brighter side, the fact is that a herd of sheep also have a leader. When the country is more like a sheep, whom would you prefer as a leader,a sheep or a lion?

A correction, he has not parted away from Anna Hazare. It's Anna Ji who have voiced differences with him.
