I would like to attract the attention of all the authorities including my own city's MP as well as Jatland's member Deepender Hooda to take the following news seriously & take immediate action against raising crime by the cab drivers not only on roads but now also on residential areas of Gurgaon.
Armed call centre cabbies assault guards over parking

Gurgaon: The menace of call centre cab drivers is riding high in the satellite city. About ten armed call centre cab drivers beat up three security guards and a resident at GAIL employees cooperative group housing society in sector 56 on April 7 when a driver was merely asked to remove his car from the main entry gate.
According to the FIR, The incident occurred about 10 pm when a call centre cab driver parked his car at the gate, obstructing the movement of residents and visitors. When the security guard asked him to remove the car, he started arguing with him.
The situation worsened when the guard asked him to enter the address of the call centre employee to be picked up. The driver allegedly refused to file an entry and manhandled the security guard instead. However, the driver fled when the guard started calling for additional security.
However, after half-an-hour, he returned with about ten accomplices, armed with iron rods. They forcibly entered the society, thrashed the three security guards mercilessly and also manhandled a resident who tried to intervene.
Meanwhile, another resident contacted the police control room. By the time the police reached the spot, the accused had fled.
Said B P Gupta, president of the society: ‘‘The security guards were severely injured and were admitted to the hospital immediately. While leaving the society premises, the miscreants threatened the residents to return at any time and damage their personal property.’’
The untoward incident has sent shock waves across the society and the nearby ap a r t m e n t s. Similar incident was reported from Jal Vayu Towers about two months ago but no action has yet been taken.
A few months ago, about ten call centre cab drivers had beaten up a man and his family members near Sikanderpur Chowk. The police had constituted a team of officials to come down heavily on the call centre cab drivers for over speeding, overcrowding but there has been no headway.
