Hi,
The DC Jat chapter is planning to have a New Year get-together and contributory dinner on 13th Jan (Sat) at Sangam Restaurant (Arlington VA). You all are invited, especially people living in the region.
The get-together will begin at 7:00pm and may go on till 10:00pm (or earlier depending on wish of people). The arrangment has been made in a banquet hall in Sangam Restaurant and we have collective buffet menu with 15$ per head (childern of age less than 10 are not counted) which will include appetizers, full course and desserts. Liquors can be obtainted from the couter. Around 25 people are expected.
The main objective is to meet and celeberate with Jats of local community and rejoice in the company. We would also discuss verious issues regarding DC jat community. We had a picnic last year and this event is kind of follow up on that. http://www.jatland.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15594
We hope to have vibrant AJA chapter in DC area and these formative meetings are crucial.
For more details, you can call 240-620-4807. If you are new in the area you can also join us http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jats_dc/
Location, directions and other information is given in restaurant's website http://www.sangamrestaurant.com/
