main gitthe bhout khela kerti thi....
waise ek khel jo manne aaj tak yad hai wo tha ak jab main chotti thi kareeb 5 saal ki....main aapne saami aala ke khelu thi ghar ghar....wo bhi unke chaat ke kullar ke stand ke neeche.....uss kullar ka switch te band tha..per plug laag ra tha te earthing ke karan jab main uske neeche te niklun thi uske stand ka ek haath tai sahara le ke....mera haath chipak gaya uste...manne na bera tha wo current ke karan tha......fer manne lagaya dusra haath pehle ne chutaan tayi....wo bhi chipak gaya....fer lagayi ek taang...arr zor lagaya ke chuut jaun...per na ho paya arr wo bhi chipak gaya....fer dusri bhi laga di....wa bhi..............................tai finally jaise ped pe wo panda nhn latkya kare...main nu latak gi.......ha ha ha..........fer meri mummy ne dekh li main kudarti....arr main chudayi...main tai ram ji ke ghar tai bachi us din tai....ha ha ha

I always was a tomboy girl...so hamesa gilli-danda aur cricket khela karti thi...aur bahut se games the jo mein hamesa khelti thi....abhi yaad nahi aa rehe hein....baad mein likhoongi.

waise ish post se bachpan ke din yaad aa gaye :)

meri tarah doston mere bachpan bhi kuch alag tha.main 5 saal ka tha jab main pahli bar ghode(horse) peh betha tha. phir kya tha ghodsavari ka shook lag gaya. 10 saal ka tha jab main pahli bar shikaar par gaya tha. 2 bathak, 1 murgai, 5 teeter mere pehle shikar ki neeshani bane.
hunting,horse riding, skating, mountain climbing, treeking and so and so.
apna bachapan to bas inhi cheejo say juda hai yar

saaray khel yaad dia diyae tamnay(arr woo kanchay le kai saari dofarii ghar aalyaa te lukhtay handyaa kartay) parr saaray ke saaray ek khel ne bhul gaye wo - Bijjo bandri
arr meri geliyaa tai ek aur buri banyaa kartii meri doo mausii thi(mere tai sall ek chotti- mere nana ki chhotti babay ki chhorii) arr wo english medium mein padya kartii arr saaray english game khelyaa kartii arr mere kimmay samaj nahi aaya kartaa. wo ek khel tha tippi-tippi-tapp, bhai jab uss mein meri baari aamti tai wo nyu kemtii akk aab teri TURN hai arr mein sochtaa akk yaa TURN kay hoya kare, badi mushkilla samaj mein aamta aak mera baata aa gaya.:D
 
Bachpan ke Khel

Not exactly games but what I remember what the kids did in the villages back in thirties.
Bit of a history



The children did not have much to do in the village except run in and out of the house aimlessly, I, from the city there for a few days, in tow, much to the annoyance of the ladies of the house and the peacefully sleeping dogs who fell in our path’

The village pond was the favourite playground of my cousins and I was always a fascinated invitee. A pebble playfully thrown in the pond would make the green moss covering its placid surface part and the water break into ripples. There was always a herd of buffaloes in the pond, with just the nostrils and eyes showing above the surface, enjoying the cool water. Some times the children would also jump, stark naked, gleefully and join the buffaloes, to beat the heat ‘

The irrigation canal flowing near the fields, was another source of fun and joy for the kids. They would jump, one after the other in the placid, slowly flowing muddy water of the stream, come out, roll in the hot sand and jump back once, repeating the ritual again and again, till too tired and hungry once again and heed back to the home

Come evening the village would come alive with the children busy playing `Gulli-Danda', `Gindu -Tora', `Ankh Michoni' or on the swing depending on the season and the phase of the moon maximum activity being on or near the full moon.
