One of the most happening members at the Jatland Forums, Rakesh Sangwan Ji alias "Raka" has been Banned at Jatland ?!

I think one needs not to ask for self-ban. If he is not interested he can refrain from taking part in any activity.

If I may ask---What is Self Ban ? ( apart from literal meaning)
whole process details , what sort of restriction , what if member later change the decision , many more ifS and howeverS .


One more thing----don't the administrators try to find out the reason so that some feedback can be captured . If we do keep track of feedbacks do we try to convince them to change their decision ( sorry i know typical attrition-retention ) .
The reason why I asked this question coz the objective of JL is to have all Jats on one platform sharing views , issues , concerns , n so much
( please do correct me if I am wrong)
Not just to increase the count how many members we have on JL .

Folks,
When we ban a member, we give it a lot of thought. It's not done in haste. Usually, these things can be very embarrassing if discussed in front of thousands of members for the person who is getting the ban or even worse, for other people who may have been victims of his abuse. There is absolutely NO way that we are going to embarrass members like this by bringing out the private details in public. Furthermore, bans are done for various reasons and a lot of times, the member themselves want a ban (ex. Raka). I don't see any reason why we should have a vote by other members if one member wants to leave.
