Bindaas Bests and Really Rottens


Hey Friends,


I think it’s the awakening of the child within. Here's to talk about the real time pass stuff at times........i.e., looking at Television commercials. Over the ages they have vastly matured, and we have come far from the ages of Vicco Vajradanti and Nirma ads to the ones we see today. However its not that all f them are lookable. But still, there are so many good one that I feel there should be a dedicated channel for adverts only.
So fuel the idea a bit more. Start listing some bests and rottens from past n recent times.
So here it goes to start with….

Among the Bests...
1. Surf Excel - Daag Achche Hain Na
2. Kya aap Close Up kerte hain....

n among the recent ones...
Reliance.... Log Sawal bahut poochte hain/ Log Advice bahut dete hain...

Some of the smart liners in this bring smile on face...:)

Among the Worst ones...
1. Fair and Handsome
2. Harpic - Aapne kabhi Harpic try kiya...???


And now all of you,,,,,,come with the best n the worst ones.....

Well, My all time fav. is Nivea commercial ... its really simple, serne & beautiful!!

I just luv its video & the song!! Quite Touchin, :) Nostalgic indeed!!

Pyar hua ikraar hua..

Old DD Ads, I really miss them:

1) Marzi hai aapki, Kyonki sar hai aapka

2) Baratiyon ka swagat paanparag se hona chahiye

3) Chalo Padhaye kuchh kar dikaye (Rashtriya Saksharta Mission)


And the worst was from DD as well (I miss that one also).
Pyar hua ekraar hua.....Delux Nirodh, pachaas paise mein teen (Sabhi sarkari chikitsalayon par muft milte hai) ;):D

that Tea ad (tata i guess )

in which the guy asks the politician about his resume / credentials ... :rolleyes: meaning full and nicely done


DEW / SPRITE ads suck as they are worried about their fight only and scoring a point .. waise they must be a adman's delight ... keeps them in business :p
 
I still remember some interesting Radio ads which i used to hear every now n then in old days ..

- Sun meri billo ..bobby 12 ruppaiye killo (bobby was sabun :))
- Sahani tire tube..raste mein kabhi dhokha nahi dete
- Uui maa..meri saadi phat gayi..uui maa nahi ..UMA..Uma Falls, Uma Falls (Ho Ho..)

Aur ek TV ka ad tha
- Yaad aa gaya mujhko gujara zamana..khushboo bheeni-2 jayka suhana..wah lajawab Indana..

ab koi naam se nahi jana jayega & then villagers start using their idea no. instead of their names
 
Raymond ads: Feels like heaven, always! treat for eyes!!

Fevicol ads: Creativity @ its best with a sarcastic humor touch, awesome!!

Coke Ads: Shows Aamir's versatility....always hillarious!

there are hell lot many i like, infact i like ads more than programmes at times.

all are talking of new ones. but there's one ad which i still remember is of nirma detergent. rhyme was perfect, idea was perfect and the adman forsee future in it--interactive billboard as we saw in minority report.

Suno suno e babuji kaha chale...maile kuchale kapde pehne kaha chale...
 
My fav
1. Greenwood ply ... chalta rahe chalta rahe.. indian law ki phaad ke rakh di ... add ke kai matlab hai... seedha prahar inidan justice par... hehe

2. when i was a kid... DD par janjagriti ke hit mein jaari aata tha... padhna likhna seekho ohh mehnat karne waalo....

Bakwas adds...

1. all cosmetics adds... garnier, lakme, fair n lovely n all that stupid stuff ... jo 3 haftoh mein gora banaye... saala aisa hai toh southindia par tab udeel do unka... 3 haftein mein kasmir ban jaayega... stupid adds

2. ek scooty ka add hai don remember brand... that scooty is running withoug any rider... apne aap chale jaa rahi hai ... patrol pump wala petrol bhi daal deta hai salute maar kar... abe saalon bina aadmi ke scooty chalti hui dekhaane ka stupid logic kahan se aaya... bhaltu mein paisa aur petrol barbaadi...

My favourite ad is
