main SSC ka question paper dekh kar itni nahi uljhi kyunki aptitute pata tha 2% hi hai, lekin ye thread dekh kar to lagta hai ki kahin cheating to nahin ki thi B.Ed. qualify karne ke liye ....hehe.....basics ki bhi bhool pad gayi

this is wrong, if correct equations then explain again, please

Lets Assume total no. of Friends are n and Total quantity of Beer and wine consumed is X and Y respectively, so the equation would be

X+Y=8n

1/6X+1/4Y=8 or 2X+3Y=96

so solving two equation:

16n-2Y+3Y=96 so Y=96-16n

and X would be X+96-16n=8n, X=24n-96

so considering the formula of Y and X the n can only be 5 otherwise both Y and X would be zero or -ve that is not possible.

So Number of friends 5
Total Quantity of beer 24
Total Quantity of wine 16
I drank 4 beer and 4 wine
