C for Congress, C for Corruption, C for Communalism and C for Crime

BJP is not in center but what about states? BJP is in power in seven states. So according to you there is no role of state government. Ignore mining scams in Karnatka?Corruption is rampant in many of these states(Gujrat as an exception). How can you ignore. Corruption allegations against Gadkari. So will you wait for another 2 years for BJP to come to center and wait for them to be involved in Scams?

When Congress is in power and looting the public day in and day out, we should criticize the BJP and others? That is wonderful. Barking up the wrong tree.

Let the BJP first come to power and let them indulge in corruption, I will substitute BJP for Congress. But till then there is no point barking up the wrong tree.

There are allegations on Modi that he has been reluctant to constitute a Lokayukta in Gujrat. But his achievements cannot be ignored. Gujrat is one of the few states which is doing well economically. Modi is a good administrator. Development is Gujrat is evident of that fact !

Let me paste a link which might put Kejriwal and BJP supporters in a fix: http://www.firstpost.com/politics/modi-not-only-communal-but-also-corrupt-kejriwal-396185.html

Kejriwal alleges Modi of communalism and corruption.... catch 22?

Yeddurapa was made to resign on the charges of same corruption in which many other CMs indulge in. Illegal Mining is rampant in Haryana and Rajasthan as well, but did you see the CMs resign? NO. Even the Supreme Court has placed restrictions on mining in Aravalis in Haryana (Gurgaon and Faridabad), but the same is continuing under the patronage of a defiant Mr. Hooda. Yeddurapa did not do anything which his predecessors (former Karnataka CMs) or CMs of other states have not done. And yet he was singled out.

Secondly and more importantly, though corruption ought to be removed completely, decisions such as gas price hike, diesel and petrol price hike, foodgrain export policy, FDI, 2G, Commonwealth, Coalgate affect the nation and not the people of any particular state. And these decisions affecting the entire nation and all the populace were not taken by a particular state govt.

It would be foolish of me or anyone else to sit in Delhi and criticize the Karnataka govt. when I do not have any firsthand information on the issues prevailing there. But being in Delhi, I am more aware of the corruption prevailing in Delhi (both state and centre) and also the one prevailing in Haryana. By the way, I do not even criticize the Congress govt. in Rajasthan because the same logic applies and which is that I do not have any firsthand information on the situation prevailing in Rajasthan.

Despite such a detailed reply, you are by all means free to criticize the BJP and others when it is the Congress which is looting the country on such a large scale.

No denying, I was just curious to know the replies of those Kejriwal supporters who criticize congress even at his sneeze and show Modi as an alternative.

Either you are undermining the role of a State Government or you don't know State Government powers. I agree that center make many policies which affect states also but that does not mean I would ignore State Government. You cannot be biased like that. Corruption is everywhere. Loss is loss. If it is at center level, state level or at council level. Now your argument that Congress is in power in other states and they are also involved in corruption does not give BJP a Clean Chit. Stop being so prejudicial and ignorant about BJP wrong doings. Indirectly you are favoring a corrupt party and thus supporting corruption!!!

No one is giving a clean chit to BJP.

You would be better advised to read my reply in full which it seems you have not done.

I used the phrase firsthand experience which you seem to have ignored. It would be foolish for me to criticize Karnataka or for that matter even Maharashtra govt. when I do not have firsthand information while sitting in Delhi. But yes, I am more than fully aware of the level of corruption in Delhi and Haryana and of course the corruption in the centre.

As already pointed out in my previous post, please feel free to criticize the BJP, BUT DO NOT USE THE CRITICISM OF BJP AS A SHIELD TO COVER UP THE LARGE SCALE CORRUPTION OF THE CONGRESS AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL which affects all the citizens of this country in equal measure whether they are from BJP or Congress ruled states.

I no where defended congress at all.. Congress is equally corrupt. Again same rule applies to BJP also. BUT DO NOT USE THE CRITICISM OF Congress AS A SHIELD TO COVER UP THE LARGE SCALE CORRUPTION OF THE BJP AT THE STATE LEVEL.

Having said that, I do not see BJP as an alternate to Congress. BJP is equally Corrupt and Communal Too!!!!!!!!

Abhik, to your point Atish is sitting in Meham and I am in US, it is foolish for him to even talk about Delhi and I shouldnt even talk about India as a whole?

A simple Google gets us all the information we need and like Atish said, loss is a loss be it in Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi or Karnatka and deserves a criticism independent of who does it.

A loss at state level is also a loss of country. SO it affects everyone in the country.

Which rule book says that if there is a mention of the Congress, there has to be a mention of the BJP and others as well? If today someone mentions BJP alongside Congress, tomorrow someone like you would ask why did you leave XYZ party and only targeting Congress and BJP? That would lead to an endless and IRRELEVANT debate.

Moreover, please refer to the topic of the thread which is bringing to the fore the true face of this corrupt, criminal and communal congress and I intend to confine it to that.

I equally criticize everyone if there is a fault. And I also equally support Individuals or any other party if it does good things for country.I do not care if it is BJP, Congress, BSP, Samajwadi Party or any other party.

I am not sure about Atish, but you for sure are shooting in the dark sitting far away in the US. Your only source of information is secondary data collated on Google which many a times is unreliable. You form your opinion on secondhand information and hence the same does not carry much weight. I would have paid more attention and credibility to what you would have to say on the state of affairs in the US rather than in India.

You are by all means free to bark up the wrong tree if you please.

Well Atish, the topic of this thread is the excesses of the Congress and it would only be fair and logical to discuss the same. You or any other member is free by all means to initiate a thread on BJP or other parties' wrongdoings.

It's your prerogative to discuss about Congress's Wrongdoing as you are the owner of this thread. In my opinion it is better to discuss corruption in overall rather than sticking to a party. As Corruption affects everyone and it does not belong to only a "single" party. No party or institute is corruption free. So in my opinion it would a worthwhile to take a holistic view of menace of corruption. Rest is up to you.

Yes sir, like you speak with spokesperson of parties directly? is it? What is your primary source of data, am curious

I have seen Indian political system very closely, lived through it to know enough to comment. I am aiming in the dark but to the stars, one by one with correct aim.

Well, I do not see this discussion with you going in the logical direction despite putting out so many rational points. Keep aiming and shooting from the US is the best I can say/advise to you.
