Voting takes place in HP on 4th November and counting takes place on 20th December. What is a valid reason for such a wide gap between the two dates?
Himachal is a small state with no law and order problems. Counting could very well have taken place immediately after or in the vicinity of voting.
The Congress gameplan of buying time to tinker with the voting machines has finally paid off as it did in Haryana and it has won the elections by a decent margin in HP whereas a neck-to-neck fight was being predicted.

कई मुद्दे ऐसे होते हैं जो कुदरती बने बनाए होते हैं इनके प्रचार की जरूरत नहीं होती , जैसे हरियाणा मे इनेलो को वोट देना मतलब जटवाद को वोट देना चाहे अगले जाट के लिए कुछ ना करे पर जाट के मन मे यही रहती हैं की जाटों की पार्टी यही हैं |

सिर्फ गुजरात मे जीत से ही ! हिमाचल मे भी चुनाव हुए हैं भाई
वैसे अभी दो राज्यों मे चुनाव थे दोनों जगह भाजपा का शासन था , कांग्रेस ने तो इतने आरोप लगने के बाद भी भाजपा के शासन मे सेंध लगाई हैं इसलिए भाजपाइयों के लिया ज्यादा खुशी की बात नहीं हैं |

I'm not sure what is reason behind you saying that Hindutav was or is issue in Gujrat elections. If Godhra is any indication then that happened a decade ago and people in our country dont remember things after 10 days and you are talking about 10 years
Coming to haryana, it is an irony where INLD is considered a jat party on similar line to BJP considered as Hindutav in gujrat. BJP in gujrat has won three election and i envision opposite(3rd defeat) happening for INLD in haryana
vaise ye aur btao ki gujrat ka hindu, hindutav k thappe wali party kyun deta hai n haryana ka jat , jat thappe wali party ko vote kyun nhi deta?

If you want to go deep in analysis that in Gujarat BJP has lost badly in rural Gujarat. Reasons could be many but prime one is attributed to Modi's limited PR reach to that region so people voted on benefits rcvd rather than the shine shown.
I trusted BJP in its last term but they proved even worst. I see that policies of central govt right now are good and when I see BJP questioning them for no reason I begin to contemplate. Like a say, the part cant manage itself how will it manage the nation?
For everything I say I give valid reasons and logics to it unlike many others who, when find no argument rate people as madam worshippers or congressi hanuman which not only takes away interest from the debate but also downgrades the discussion
What do you want me to comment on? Of course it was derogatory and I am sure had it been BJPs govt things would have been same. I started one thread to show reality of Gujarat's development but moderators locked it down saying people were getting personal there but I see much personal discussions on this thread.
Anyways, point I am making is if it is worth criticizing I do criticize and there are several posts you can read on that. I have repeatedly said that Modi is more qualified than Rahul to be the PM of India if at all that choice comes as he has more govt experience but Modi is not the best, he has his flaws which most of the people here refuse to accept.

Desi, me and my friend were discussing the same thing.Let me give you a different picture.We thought on both angles, one that is given by you and another one that i'm mentioning here.In Gujrat in urban i think it 49 vs 7 for bjp and Rural it is 48-48 so it is defeat for congress still not in assembly but from your point as well. DO look at the trend as well how much it was last time and how much it is this time.
Congress use to win in urban constituencies and that has declined very fast and reason is not only Modi's PR. There is other way to this. congress has ruled for so long so it will take some time before they get to know the reality in rural India.Someone from congress itself tsaid in delhi in very informal conversation( congress party ka Gen sec tha) that congress hit common man but it never makes any noise. Bina awaj ki maar maarte hain. I can bet that you can not go to rural india and explain 2G or commonwealth corruption(ebb chahe usne 10crore ki bta ya 1.76lac crore that is not point) but in urban they understand this.In gujrat Modi use explain it well so he won. He use to ask, 2 lac crore ka koyla khate kisiko PM ko dekha hai
In general in rural india it is more for individual candidates then issues or the PR of Modi.
