The exit of Vinod Rai as the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) seems to have started affecting the public auditor's functioning with the first prime beneficiary being the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra.

A crucial audit that could have authenticated senior IAS officer from Haryana Ashok Khemka's serious allegations involving Vadra's land deals have been nixed midway.

The CAG had started an audit of licenses issued to private developers by the Haryana government in the last five years against the backdrop of Vadra's controversial land deals with DLF, exposed by whistleblower officer Khemka.

The process was started under the then CAG, Vinod Rai, but it stopped in June when Shashi Kant Sharma took over the charge of the office.

It took three letters to end the public auditor's action in Haryana. First was that of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's principal secretary (town and planning) as he wrote to the CAG's top officer in Haryana, saying the audit was repetitive.

Then came a letter from the principal accountant general (PAG) saying his officers were getting no cooperation from the state in their audit. The final blow came on June 3 when the CAG wrote to its Haryana office to chuck the audit.

It was Khemka who had recommended a detailed audit into the grant of licences to develop private colonies and release of land from acquisition to get to the bottom of the rampant land scams in the state. He had made the recommendation in a 105-page reply to the state government on May 21 on the findings of a three-member panel that had given Vadra a clean chit.

Ironically, the development comes just a couple of months after anti-corruption crusader Vinod Rai's retirement. The CAG too now seems to be going the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which was termed as a "caged parrot" by the Supreme Court earlier this year, way.

Though this is not the official NCERT book, but rather published by private publisher (Rachna Sagar Pvt.ltd).

But the attempt to pollute small brains is really shameful. Can any spoon, list what has been Owl baba's achievements this far, to share the dice on likes of Subhash, Bhagat etc. And possibly how small brains could rather distinguish him from these hero's, with what contribution has he given to the society?

(I hope one of the established spoon will not contact Rachna Sagar with his pics & story, toget himself published and share with the small kids how he has and is conributing to the sucess of 'Bharat Nirmaan' with the great party, making sure this bharat nirmaan keeps on going polls after polls)

नई दिल्ली। तुलसी प्रजापति कांड को लेकर हुए स्टिंग ऑपरेशन ने इस चुनावी साल में भाजपा की मुश्किलें बढ़ा दी हैं। चुनावी महासमर की तैयारी में जुटी पार्टी इसे गंभीर झटका मान रही है, इससे बावजूद भाजपा विवाद में आए अपने नेताओं का साथ देगी। जबकि इस स्टिंग के घेरे में आए नेताओं ने आरोपों को खारिज करते हुए कहा है कि वे अदालत में ही अपना जवाब देंगे।
भाजपा के संगठन मंत्री रामलाल, प्रवक्ता प्रकाश जावडेकर और भूपेंद्र यादव पर आरोप है कि उन्होंने तुलसी प्रजापति मामले में हलफनामा तैयार कराने में उनके परिजनों को प्रभावित करने की कोशिश की। हालांकि जावडेकर ने अपने ऊपर लगे आरोपों को गलत बताते हुए कहा कि वे अदालत में ही जवाब देंगे, जबकि भूपेंद्र यादव ने आरोपों को बेबुनियाद बताते हुए कहा कि इनका उचित समय पर कानूनी तौर पर जवाब दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि इन आरोपों में कोई दम नहीं है, क्योंकि उन्होंने किसी से भी हलफनामे पर हस्ताक्षर नहीं कराए। भाजपा के नेता पहले भी स्टिंग ऑपरेशन में फंसते रहे हैं। पार्टी के पूर्व अध्यक्ष बंगारू लक्ष्मण को तो स्टिंग में पैसा लेते दिखाया गया था। पैसा लेकर संसद में सवाल पूछने को लेकर हुए स्टिंग में जो 11 सांसद फंसे थे उनमें सबसे ज्यादा भाजपा के ही थे। वैसे कांग्रेस की तुलना में भाजपा नेता मीडिया से दूरी बनाने के लिए ज्यादा कुख्यात हैं। इसके बावजूद वे स्टिंग में फंसते रहे हैं। पार्टी में भी इस बात पर हैरानी जताई जा रही है कि इस तरह के संवदेनशील मुद्दे पर वरिष्ठ नेता किसी के झांसे में कैसे आ गए। इस स्टिंग को लेकर संसद के गलियारे में भी सोमवार को सुबह से ही चर्चा शुरू हो गई थी।
जावडेकर और यादव भी लगातार बैठकें करते रहे। उनके चेहरे पर चिंता की लकीरें साफ झलक रही थीं।
क्या है मामला
एक स्टिंग ऑपरेशन के अनुसार भाजपा नेता तुलसी प्रजापति मुठभेड़ कांड के केस को कमजोर करने के लिए तुलसी की मां नर्मदा प्रजापति से छह सादे कागजों पर दस्तखत कराने में सफल रहे थे।

 
After destroying the reserves due to Mal-governance, corrupt deeds and showering money to appease minorities, now Govt. is planning to slash Gold of Hindu temples like Tirupati, Shirdi and may be Siddhivinayak by convincing temple trusts to deposit jewellery that could be converted into bullion to take care of the current account deficit.


With all efforts to arrest the rupee's slide coming to a naught, policymakers now plan to knock on the doors of temples — from Tirupati to Shirdi — seeking a boon to feed Indians' fetish for gold without importing it.

The Reserve Bank of India, which has been making gold imports more difficult through a series of restrictions, is discussing with banks on how to convince temple trusts to deposit their hoard of idle jewellery that could be converted into bullion, said two bankers familiar with the matter.

They refused to be identified because of the sensitive nature of the issue. The Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh, Shirdi Sai Baba temple in Maharashtra, Siddhivinayak at Mumbai and Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram are among the richest in India with huge reserves of gold and precious metals.

In fact, the roofs of many temples, such as the Nataraja temple in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, and Tirupati are covered with gold. RBI is counting on banks handling the accounts of these temple trusts to convince them to convert their huge gold deposits into cash, the bankers said.
