Haryana the frist state in India passes a bill to introduce casino in the state.
The business lobby & hoteliers are need it badly.
What benefits if any it will bring to people of Haryana ????????????
Gambling is one of the old evil.We have seen Mahabharat in Kurekchetra.
Kisan-mainly Jats will be in loss- whatever piece land left over will disappear in Baniyas-&PANJABI hands.
What is way fforward ??
Your view please.

I am kind of double minded on this, Read this news and criticisim etc.
Let us take another scenariao and Haryana does not go for this and after some time other states goes for it, like Delhi Punjab, Raj, UP and Punjab decided to have casinos after few years, Haryana is so small that 90% of haryanvi's will have acess to this evil anyway. So does banning this will be good?, Like Haryana Banned Daroo.
Jise khelna hai wo to ab bhee khelta hai.
How about if Govt give licences to land owners only.
How much it will help in Haryana's economy ?
Just another thought, might be wrong.

hi!

it was interesting to see that the person opposing this was surender singh (bansi lal's son). and this after all the bad press he got for his alleged actions during the prohibition... :P

but as for thr casino itself, the "poor" wouldn;t be able to afford to get in and the rich would supposedly know what they are doing, or atleast be able to support their habit... so what is the prob if the state gets some money in the bargain ?

nitin

hi
paisa to jaton ke paas bhi hai..aisa manna galat hai ke jaton ke dhore peesa koni...
but it all depends on a person to gamble or not!!!!!
prohibition ke time mainbbi sarkar ko 600 crore ka nuksaan hoya tha..
cheers
singh

hi all
i was of the view that casino would do good to the people of haryana , but after lreading dudee tau 's view i had to seriously reconsider my opinion . but the ground reality is that if it is casino it has to be in gurgaon no other place would be able to sustain casino . so gurgaon ki taraki ka haryana ne pura phayada nahin uthaya , yes politicians & govt was benefitted but people of harayana were not benefitted much ( correct me if i am wrong) because whatever top position were there ,were all occupied by other caste. & jats were left to do mediocre job only . so the casino is not going to effect medium people unless it come out of 5 star hotels & then medium class people get into it . the casino is going to be fine till the times it is meantto be enjoyment & not a livelihood . but one does not realise when former turns later.so the casino has to controlled & unoffically ensured that it stick to tourist & rich class . & govt has to ensured that the jats or for that matter haryana people get employement there, which is going to be difficult unless ther is will to do so , rare in suck cases. but it can be given a try atleast .

I wonder why the business like decision of our governments are mixed with social issues, giving permissions to casino's will give a first mover advantage to haryana,..with revenues from licence fee...Employment for people...(A casino on an average employs 25 people with atleast 5 bouncers...atleast 5 jats will get job per casino)....lot of people from UP, punjab and Delhi will travel to haryana...to have fun in casino..

A casino is very much a part of urban entertainment and should not be compared with gambling..atleast I cant foresee people selling their lands to play casino..

Lets not criticize some good steps which our otherwise non progressive government take.

I can cite a example of UP government where they allowed beer to be available more freely in supermarkets etc and set up special beer shops in neighbourhood...this also had a political criticism but has boosted the finance for the govt. as well as eases the life of beer drinkers.

I have seen people (with family) having fun in casino's in goa(5 of them) and in nepal..Why do you want people to travel so far to have some fun...let them all go to haryana and spend their money...beleive me it will be good for haryana economy.

Dudee Jee,

This topic should interest every Haryana resident because it is regarding our home. My personal view on having a Casino town for entertainment purposes is negative. But i am not sure if Casino in a place so near to the Capital, will have adverse effect any more than what proximity to Delhi has on Haryana right now (along with good ones!). Having a Casino in Gurgaon is meant to target Delhites and not farmer community. I really don't know what to say on this matter.

My personal views, .....NO BUSINESS IS BAD if running on some moral grounds and generates revenue for area.

Only point to be noted Gurgaon is the area where JAT have got easy money as on date, if casino comes up there ... trust pockets of uneducated and newly rich JATs at Gurgaon will empty soon.

Another school of thought is if not now... soon this casino will surly come up.... Gurgaon is almost delhi now.... and if Govt. passes. this trust someone of us if given chance will not let this hudge money out of hands like this.... TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. ( Yes offcourse opening casino is not a cake walk)

It's nothing but generation gap kind of story ... TODAY each one of us watch TV and GO movies why ???? inspite of our dadaji's and grand nanaji's has been against these activites .... but now our culture looks it as entertainment point of view.... YES, ... WE KEEP ON SAYING TV OR MOVIES ARE SPOILING GENERATIONS... BUT LOOK IT THE WAY EITHER CUP IS HALF EMTPY OR HALF FILLED... IT THE WAY ONE LOOK AT IT.....

SAME APPLIES TO CASINO

Urmila ji,

mein aap se ek dam sehmat hoon. Casino can never be beneficial. Its a problem. Loosing and gaining money through gamble is never good.

Pata nahin log mahabharat se sabak kyon nahin lete.

dudee sahab..aap ne likha hai...Gambling is mother of all vices...DRUGS,GANG WARFARE, FLASH TRADE ,CALL GIRL,MAFIA,AIDS,CASINO is a centre of all evils- this is not a progress
pr sir..agar aap aisa feel karte hai ..to CM Choutala sahab ye anounce karne ke bad London me aaye the..aap bhi vahan the..to kya aapne ye topic us platform pr uthaya tha.???? jaisa muze pata hai aap us aadmi se apni book release krwane wale the!!!! ..to sir bura na maniye..kya ye thik hai ki ek NETA jo haryana ko aapke hisab se casino ke through DRUGS,GANG WARFARE, FLASH TRADE ,CALL GIRL,MAFIA,AIDS ki dunia me le ja rha hai..usse apni PAVITR BOOK release karwa kr.. use samman de aur le...!!!!mere hisab se aapke paas london me 16th nov. ko ye bat direct CM ko kahne aur samzaane ki opportunity thi..kya aape ye bat uhe kahi thi vahapar???
aapki chita jayaj hai..pr kya ye sab buraiyan aaj nhi hai samaz me?? ye to jivan ka hissa hai..kis desh kis samaz aur kis yug me na rhi hai ye buraiyan???..mere hisab se CASINO ki kamai agar state me devlopment ke kam aa sakti hai to koi buri bat na hai...aur ye casino vaise na hai jo koi aakar apni DROUPDI ko dav pr lagae
phir se kah rha hu..jato ke paas itna paisa na hai jo ve in CASINO me uda denge...

Dear All
We NRI are for progress of India by
Education - Industry- trade &EXPORT.
I invited all CMs of Haryana including OP CHAUTALA & His son & introduced them to NRI GROUP- Because I love jats &HARYANA. Progress of jats is close to my heart. I have good working relation with all ex-cm - cm- mps & social workers.
But I also know friends- relatives whose land taken by force on give away price in GURGAUN.
I also know ANSOL & other who are there.& the VISTASTAR - THE CASINO KING.
The whole hotel trade is run by panjabi baniya.
hardly any jat will get job- may be 5 securty guard- 5 drivers etc.
Haryana ka panjabikaran ho raha.
Jatoo ki- kurwani per- jatoo ki jamin kodiyo - giveaway price-ky rate per Ansal etc- PANJABI karid kar hotel bana rahay han
Nojawan jats ky pas - education- job- future prospects nahi han.
Isaliye- Gang war fare- chori- dakati- Drugs & Crime mae lagay huye han - jo VINAS HH- VIKAS NAHI.
Rajniti mae bhi mafia gang active han.
For example- SONIPAT JATOO ki seat han- jat apas mae ladaty rahy- 1 panjabi don jisky delhi mae illegal clubs- aaddy han- black money sy AAJ MLA HAN- NEXT TIME will be 10 or more.
I feel this is my duty to warn the young future generation know the dark future ahead.

Dear Harvinder
I respect your feeling- let me clear few points.
I have no business & political interest with meeting this CM & any other leaders.
I have good relation with every one & every body is welcome including you.
The problem is this they talk different in UK- USA & changed 100% in INDIA.

BHai bat yah hh ki jankari- milana asbhi sy hh.
Sabhi ka yahi vichar hh- dusary kahana nahi chahaty- mae kahdeata huu- yahi untar hh.
BOOK ka vimochan tao CM ny BHIWANI MAE LAST YEAR KIYA THA-
HARYANA DAy cultural PROG THA- INVESTMENT ki BAT hue HAN.-CASINO koe issue nahi yah kaha hh- back deal ka pata hamako- news sy vad mae mila han.
AApko bhi hamany haryana day per bulaya tha. cultural prog tha- AAp ko CM sy book bhaet karwa deagy mail mae yahi likha tha.
Baki- PROGRESS- EDUCATION -INDUSTRY- Casino ky baray mae maery vichar yahi rahaygy
JATOO ky cost per haryana ka panjabi karan nahi hony daengy.
MAFIA DON OUT FROM HARYANA.

Dear All,
Any business is good if done on some moral ground rules. But how many times these rules even made are followed. There was nothing wrong with the probihition, if it was enforced properly. It benefitted the people who could circumvent the laws by paying money to law enforcement agencies to get the liquor into the state and sell it in black. Similarly, even Cassion may not be a bad thing for the economy, but will it really help the average person "Aam Aadmi" that is the question to be seen.
Who is going to get the license? The one who will have money to give to the people making this decision. Who will be those 5 Jats who will get the job? again those who will be able to influence the decision maker.
Cassino is not the only way to make economic progress. How about building the model university in the state with strict governing rulew where Merit is the only criteria for admission and scholarship. How about building a tourist place, where again the merit is only criteria for employment and licensing. Off course the Cassino will bring the more tourists and thus more business. It will also bring more crime to the state, and that would only be multiplying as it would get interlinked to other areas. Could it also bring the drugs to the state. We need to think over it. Let me also assure you that if it personally helps those in power of making decision, it will come there whether or not you like it.

An eye opener for every one and specially for those who believe money by any means is fair. In real life people will argue for and against any issue depending on their own value system. Traditionally Jats believe in earning by hard work and fair means. Casino does not fit in to this category. Those who think otherwise may believe that easy money is a good thing. In fact the love of money itself is one of the causes of unhappiness add to that love of easy money the result can be extrapolated in to increase in unhappiness. In plain and simple language Casino is bad any where and no amount of financial gains can justify it. Why CM and some others are supporting it is any one's guess. Probably money has been elevated above all social values. Time will only tell the consequences. There is no denying Haryana is getting richer but also it is getting meaner and losing it's human touch. That can be said for rest of the country as well. So why fret. It is the Maya gaining over soul which is very very hard to resist for ordinary human beings. What we need is inner strength to resist the temptation of Maya. Does it make sense?

ek casino ki ye kasar thi, nahan er kahan ne sabne poora nahin, udaan ne kitteh awaga.aur chalo ak argument yai maan bhi lee
keh revenue badeh ga per jawaga kit.aur rahi deal chota lalas ki lallayan keh saath uska hisaab teh deekeh seh.

baaki politics teh samaj manne nahi aati, es Jatland peh jisne yai samaj aaweh er keemeh ker saktay ho to zaroor karo.

I think we are mixing general bad reputation CASINO has with this business as an industry...

Haryana has the benefit of location, that is why Haryana is getting this chance, otherwise yes no one would have let Haryana be the first one in this. But if Haryana does not use Delhi's location to its benefit, then who to blame.

Shubha chand ji
Very wise thought.
WE NRI only giving friendly advice to CM & HARYANA GOVT- that please do not close agriculture research centre at Gurgaun- because you need land for CASINO.

We are for progress & development through Education & INDUSRTY
CASINO is not a industry- this is a gambling machine.
There is not many taker in the world.
