Challenges and Chances before AAP

Do people of Jammu Kashmir not come under Indian State or does Indian Army not serve there to save their life and property ! Do many army officers and personnel not facing the music on account of so called 'violation of human rights, notwithstanding presence of AFSPA.

Rajpal ji, both the people of J&K and the security forces are indeed citizens of the state in the traditional sense. With regards to AFSPA, its proponents think it helps the state and its opponents think otherwise.

But let me also tell you sometimes there is a difference between 'the State' and 'the people'. The power holders - bureaucracy, political leadership, the security forces comprise 'the state' and the general public for which the former are created but often end up on opposing sides are 'the people'. Most of the problems that our country faces are essentially conflicts between these two.

So called violation of human rights? Are you ignoring or underplaying the fact that the Army has committed human rights violations? Please research and you will find out many such cases.

Further, People like senior member of AAP Prashant Bhushan successfully generate controversy to remain in news whether for good cause or the bad one. When the ill-conceived utterances backfired, they became his personal views ! Does he personally belong to AAP or not !! If he is member of the party, his personal views reflect Party line of thinking !!
He politically belongs to the AAP, not personally. Please understand the difference.

Regarding Bhushan's efforts to generate controversy to remain the news, neither your nor I know him personally. So we cant say for sure. It may help to learn more about his background though. He has always been outspoken about his views. At the same time he has an illustrious background as a lawyer picking up many cases for the benefits of the general public. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prashant_Bhushan

[h=2]Career[edit][/h]Bhushan began practising as an advocate in the Supreme Court of India in 1983, specialising in Public Interest Litigation. His main areas of interest have been Human Rights, the Environment and ensuring that public servants are accountable. He is associated with various organisations including the Centre for Public Interest Litigation (CPIL), People's Union for Civil Liberties,Committee on Judicial Accountability and Transparency International (India).[SUP][4][/SUP] As of 2012 Bhushan was the convenor of the Working Committee of the Campaign for Judicial Accountability and Judicial Reforms.[SUP][5][/SUP]
[h=3]Centre for Public Interest Litigation[edit][/h]Bhushan has acted as an advocate for the CPIL on several occasions, an example being in October 1997, when the Delhi High Court heard a CPIL petition over the award of contracts to Enronand Reliance Industries to develop the Panna-Mukta oilfield, and issued notices to the involved companies and government organisations.[SUP][6][/SUP]
CPIL won a major victory in 2003 when the Supreme Court restrained the Union government from privatising Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum without the approval of Parliament.[SUP][7][/SUP] As counsel for the CPIL, Rajinder Sachar and Bhushan argued that the only way to disinvest in the companies would be to repeal or amend the Acts by which they were nationalised in the 1970s.[SUP][8][/SUP]
Shanti and Prashant Bhushan were counsel for the CPIL when it sought a direction from the Supreme Court that Dalits who had converted to Christianity should be entitled to the same reservation they had enjoyed as members of Scheduled Castes. The Union government said this was purely a legislative matter but in February 2005 the Supreme Court decided to again review the constitutional issue.[SUP][9][/SUP]
In February 2005 Bhushan and Anil B. Divan were counsel for CPIL seeking quashing of the CVC Act, 2003, which requires the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to obtain permission from the Union government before registering corruption cases against senior bureaucrats. Bhushan argued that the act violated the basic rights of citizens and was counter to the rule of law. The Supreme Court referred the question to a constitution bench of five judges.[SUP][10][/SUP]
Bhushan represented the CPIL in a petition asking for the removal of Neera Yadav from office as Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh for alleged corruption. Yadav had been named in five CBI corruption cases and 23 departmental proceedings. In October 2005 the Supreme Court directed the Mulayam Singh state government to remove her from her position.[SUP][11][/SUP] The case became the first in which an Indian Administrative Service officer in Uttar Pradesh was convicted of corruption.[SUP][12][/SUP]
In 2006, Bhushan represented the CPIL in a petition alleging that Pepsico and Coca-Cola were failing to warn the public of harmful ingredients in their beverages, and were luring young children through misleading advertising.[SUP][13][/SUP]
In 2007, Bhushan filed a petition on behalf of the CPIL with the Delhi High Court to investigate whether there had been kickbacks in the 2005 Scorpene submarine deal. The High Court took a strong line with the investigating agency, saying "We feel dissatisfied with that you've done so far. If you've tried to shield someone, then we will come down very heavily on you".[SUP][14][/SUP]
Prashant Bhushan acted for the CPIL when it took the lead in filing a suit against the Government of India for irregularities in a major award of spectrum for 2G mobile telephones. The CPIL petition alleged that the government had lost $15.53 billion by issuing spectrum in 2008 based on 2001 prices, and by not following a competitive bidding process.[SUP][15][/SUP]
In September 2011 Bhushan presented evidence that appeared to disprove the claim by the CBI that Dayanidhi Maran, the former telecom minister, had not applied undue pressure to the owner of Aircel to sell to the Maxis group of Malaysia. Bhushan said the CBI's investigation had been "less than honest".[SUP][16][/SUP]
In January 2012 Bhushan questioned why the CBI had failed to lay charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act against companies such as Essar Group and Loop Mobile despite strong evidence against them.[SUP][17][/SUP] In February 2012 the Supreme Court declared the allocation of spectrum had been illegal.[SUP][18][/SUP]

But what is the solution.

You are asking me for something that the combined best minds of the 1.4 Bn people and perhaps the world have not been able to solve. :)

I can share my views on how we can perhaps move towards a solution, but again as I mentioned, and I hope you too realize as a moderator, its best discussed on another thread.

We need to come out of this our self by our own way

1. JATS who are at good position either in Govt or Private Sector should say with proud that they are JATS
2.Need to speak your own language if you are at officer level position . When 2 or more Jats meet.
3.We need to choose technical professional courses more and more. In case your son is not able to get in good engineer college then better ask him to go for diploma and be a very good root level technical person and then switch to business.
4.Need to align only with National Party.
5.In Capital we need to build Statue of Raja Nahar Singh who sacrificed his life during 1858 freedom war. We should also gather there on his Balidan Divas. This will tell the people of Capital about the sacrifice of Community and knowledge that JAT ruled the NCR region.

Aur bade sare sune hai " Pagal " pehli bar . Sharing My opinion only ....

In Pvt Sector.....no body gives a damn about caste , creed , religion , color ( gender may be depends ) .
Talk in native language .....if u r at officer level ......well irrespective of that in a way agree .....many of us do when we meet some body from our own region / place . However in so called " Etiquette Rule Book " , it is considered rude to speak in a language that other people do not understand . That is why there is usually a culture of speaking English at work place as diff people from diff places .
Encourage ur kids ( not just son ) to be best - choose whatever they want some handyman , sports , engg , artist , in biz or whatever .

Bhai possible ho sake to is article ka link dena, kyonki mujhe aisa lag raha hai ki yah banda aise nahin chhod dena chahiye, jo Jats ko communal bolta ho, iske article ka seriously postmortem karna jaroori hai. so ho sake to iske article pe discussion hetu ek new thread hi shuru karen, jahaan main bhi participate karunga!

Its really something serious to be taken by all of us!

Ye lo bhai padho, aap waalon ka ek aur naya sagoofa:

After seeking a referendum on the presence of the Army in Kashmir, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Prashant Bhushan on Saturday favoured that Maoists should join the “AAP movement”.

http://www.deccanchronicle.com/1401...rticle/aap-seeks-naxals-presence-its-movement

ab Jaspreet ji aur V.P. Singh ji isko bhi Prashant Bhushan ka personal opinion kah ke taalenge kyaa? ab to yaa to AAP ko is bande ko party se out karna chahiye ya fir aap logon accept karna chahiye ki AAP ki neetiyan hi yahi hain!

He is proving nothing but Digvijay Singh of AAP and will destroy the party as is done by former to his party!

When surrendered militants in Punjab, Kashmir and NE can be rehabilitated why not the Naxals? After all they are a part of the same society as us and have chosen different paths to achieve their goals.

I think its a great idea, if the Maoists are willing to give up violence. AAP should definitely include this in their national manifesto. This way they can join the political mainstream and bring about the change they want by non-violent means.

First point, if to relate Sikhs before 15th century when Sikhism was established, then to whom you would connect them to? Either Hindus or Muslims from where Sikh Sangat emerged, no? If to take notion on any pre-Sikhism incident for proud or historical matter with whom you connect the Sikhs? The same is the logic I used to prove my connectivity of Romans to war of Troy?
I don't know why you fail to understand this. Again, you used the wrong analogy. You mentioned Romans or their ancestors as the 'destroyers' of Troy, i.e the Greeks. But actually, as your link itself showed, Roman ancestors were the Trojan survivors and not their enemies, the Greeks. See it now?

Second point, you seem going paralysed in last 3-4 posts from you, where you have competely derailed yourself from the debate and has engaged me in this of no use Roman point (which infact was used just as a reference example) in this debate, doest this point matters so much for this debate in any sense? So please before preaching me on to keep the debate to the point, please implement it on urself first.
When the reference example itself is incorrect, its hard to take the argument seriously. Its as simple as that.

You know when and at what moments in a debate someone guesses of words like "monologues", "embellished", "irrelevant" etc, only then when someone has no weight or point to prove own stand on points raised on debate. And who has derailed from the debate let the Jatlanders decide it. You are a participator in this debate so you can't play two roles like "Chit bhi meri aur pat bhi meri". Means until you kept proving your points to the point of debate then fine otherwise you know very smartly how and when in a debate to use words like "monologues"..... etc.

So kind request to you, if you have lost weight on points directly related to debate then better take a pause and rethink and then come again brother!

As a participant I am well within my right to point out when a thread is about to get derailed. I can also exercise the right to participate in a debate or not.

kyaa see karun ismen, maine kab likha hai ye baat ki saari vajah wahi the, maine to ye likha hai ki vajahon mein vajah the wo.

you can excercise one right, either participate or do self or participators assessment, you can't keep both rights in ur hands!

Congress ki B team hain ki nahin iska to pata nahin but ye AAP waale communists ki B team jaroor hain, itna Jaspreet sahab ne confirm kar diya hai! Baksh do sarkar sahab Haryana and north india ko vaise hi in communists ne danda diya hua hai, kyon kuttak bajwaane pe tule ho shaanti se rah rahe Haryana mein! West Bengal ka 35 saal ka raaj nahin dekha kyaa inka, dekho ja ke wahaan, Gareebi us talhati tak pahuncha di thi in logon ne wahaan ki logon ko apni betiya bechni padti hain aaj wahaan pe, aur yakeen na ho to har doosre-teesre din tumhaare hi state mein wahaan se dulhnen ban ke aa rahi ladkiyan iska jeeta-jaagta saboot hai! kal ko haryana mein bhi yahi haalaat paida karwana chahte ho kyaa, ek to yahaan pahle se hi gender ratio wierd hai, ab aap kyaa chahte ho ki iska bhi banta-dhaar ho jaaye?

Woh wajah nahin the sir ji. Roman ancestors=Trojan survivors =/Trojan destroyers = Greeks. Ab samjhe?

Theek hai, sir ji. Main galat. Anyways, I am getting tired of this back and forth. I relent; lets debate Kashmir. Thread derail hota hai to hota rahe. :)

Haan AAP wale Congress aur BJP se to bure hi nikalege, hai na? Dono partiyon ne pehle bahut jhande gaarh rakhe hain North India mein.

First of all, let me say I don't support communism. Capitalism is required, but with a degree of impartial state control.

Second, a state doesn't necessarily under-perform because its under Communist rule. WB is one of the most underdeveloped states. But so are Odisha and Bihar. At the same time communists have been in power very regularly in Kerala. You very well know where it ranks in social indicators.

Third, just calling for political participation by Maoists doesn't make AAP communist.

What I infer from Bhai Dr. Phool Kumar's posts is that a person is divinely ordained to be a communist, a Congressi, a Sangh Pracharak, or BJP Wala by birth and it is sinful to change his/her political affiliation during lifetime. A person has to take a re-birth to change one's ideological orientations. Once a pariah always a pariah. According to Dr. Kumar, Naxals should not be allowed to disarm themselves to join the mainstream politics, because they might join AAP which is sinful and anti-national - according to Dr. Kumar. Similarly, people from other streams of politics should not be allowed to change their ideologies, come what may.

Crime against woman in Kerala google kijiye aur reports dekhiye sir, topmost states mein aati hai kerala is maamle mein.

BJP and Congress ke raaj mein dange hue, deny nahin karta but communist to social system hi destroy kar dete hain. aur 35 years of rule ka example isliye diya ki communist too lag on performances on almost all indices so what special or diffrerent Prashant Bhushan sees in them that he calls them all to join AAP?

Let me give you more data. Kerala suicides mein bhi kaafi upar hai aur highest per capita consumption of alcohol bhi hai. At the same time, it has the highest literacy, sex ratio and the best govt. healthcare system. But doesn't that refute your point that a state isn't necessarily dependent on the govt to be developed or under-developed?

Its not just about riots. Communist or non-communist, both are capable of every form of mis-governance.

What is the evil you see in them that you don't even want them considered in the political process even if they want to? Should they be shot even if they wish to surrender and reform?

First thing on place, I don't know why sometimes I see you driven with emotions in your posts. Because none the place I said that they shouldn't be provided a chance. All what I am doing is just discussing their policies with a critical eye, that's it.

Because I can't run in emotions in wreath of leaving something odd considering the forthcoming would be better blindly. I am just visualizing how different they are from what has been in place and this is where you and me are in conflict. You seem relying on them blinding whereas I am going logically. This is all what is making disparities among the two.

So bear on debate and more on time now and you will come to see most of my points and observations about AAP coming true. But then you won't be able to retreat your decision of favoring AAP, because you would had gone far in your illusion.

Sir please don't drag me in yourway or try to put your words in my mouth. None the place I said especially when I know countless examples of such people who were dacoits in their early life and later on became the saints or gentleman, whether it was Maharishi Balmiki, Maharrishi Vishwamitra, Dacoit Phoolan Devi etc. And above this they are in my most respected personalities list. So please don't take me in wrong considerations.

All what I have issue with is the kind of approach this party is taking in attracting people, just like "Kahin ki eint-kahin ka roda, bhanmati ne kunba joda".... And you, me and all of us know very well ki Bhanmat ke jode hue kunbe kitna paar utaarte hain ya utarte hain.

I think we three especially you, Jaspreet Bhai sahab and me, have gone beyond deserving arguments on this topics, it was really not so much worthy thread to be en-lengthening this much but now I am now taking off from it. Because you guys running by emotions in this debate instead of logic and when emotions interrupt the logic, a debate can never get to end.

So taking a bid from this thread, will only return if really found something very critical.
