This is about an incident I remember from 1956 or 1957 when I was a student in Jhunjhunu living in the Jat Boarding. At that time there were about 60 Jat boys in the Boarding in a town of population about 30,000. There were a lot of fights between Jat Boarding boys and town boys. One day such a fight occurred and both the contestents were about the same size. Although we were about 10 Jat boys and the city Brahmin boy had 3 or 4 friends with him, the two were allowed to fight while others watched. There happened to be Chaudhary from a nearby village who also stood there watching quietly. The Jat boy was giving a good thrashing to the Brahmin but the Brahmin boy kept on telling " tere ko parson dekh loonga". The chaudhary was quiet for a while but after a while he walked in, held the two boys apart, one with each hand, and said to the Brahmin boy "tu itti der syon kahryo hai parson dekh loonga, parson dekh loonga. Aaj hi karle kuch karno hai, parson koi silajit khake avega".
