Confidence v/s knowledge

Confidence v/s Knowledge

dear friends, i am a student ,, in our class mostly all of the teachers use to check our grades and levels by organising GD's(group discussions)
among the students....they says that GD's are the best way to check weather a student have learned the subject or not....
in our class there are two types of students---
A-who have a good knowledge but less confidence to express their views and points.
B-those having loads of confidence bt no knowledge(i belongs to group B):rolleyes:
usually 'B' type of students use their confidence against opponant's knowledge ,because they have that GIFT OF GAB
by which we can convince any body,,,even the teacher...
(they have a persuing power...)
and on seeing 'B' type student's confidence even 'A' type students feel helpless(altaugh they have all the knowledge) and starts lossing their hope....
in my point of view sucess in life can not be desired by knowledge....
but by confidence you can have 100% sucess for sure...
what is knowlege????:confused:
Knowledge is nothing but just an information about some thing.
For example, you may know the rules of swimming or cricket but unless you swim or play cricket you can not get the wisdom ...

soo what do you think which one is the key to sucess.........CONFIDENCE OR KNOWLEDGE
 
Both are important. You can't run down the importance of knowledge beyond a point. You need to have atleast the minimum skill set required for a job. For example, with all the confidence in the world, I still can't do a bypass surgery or fly a plane or make an atom bomb. Moreover, even having just the minimum amount doesn't help, as usually you tend to be more confident when you know your job thoroughly. Having said that, lots of people still bullshit their way to success through the gift of gab. I think it also depends on the kind of job in question- the jobs based on mostly common sense (like banking, consultancy, etc.) would see more bullshitters. Finally, success is not only based on confidence and knowledge. Or other internal factors like hard work, determination, etc. There is a lot to do with external factors like environment, your boss, your peers, luck, etc.

k...k i agree .....
but temme 1 thing there are certain jobs like salesmen ....
i don't think that he needs any knowledge .....jst he needs confidence in him....by his gab he can persue the ppl and sell the things.....

and most of our leaders are not educated(m saying most),,,and they don't have any knowledge......but they have only confidence in their speach....
by that confidence they can also turn lies into truth....and can lead the masses.....

and sir ji you are saying luck ,hard work...etc etc...

i think hard work is done in both the cases ....a person having knowledge is also doing hard work....and a person having extream confidence also have to do a lot of hard work to get mastery over the gab.....

and moreover i am not toking about any other external factor.....

i am jst saying knowledge ya confidence...........

vaise koi galti ho gayi ho to chota bhai samajh ke maaf karna......
 
when we hve good knowledge abt something.we hve confident to do that time.partics or knowledge make our confident.there are three things ..hardwork+knowledge+confident..tino honi jaq

that leaders live their sucessfull life without any knowledge.....

and we are not taking hard work here.........


u have to choose only among the two....confidence ya knowledge

jo ye ap khe rhe ho na wo apka confidence hai.knowledge nhi.knowledge ki jarurt to chor ko padti ki kasie chori karni hai.knowledge ke bina confidence ek pagal pan hai.

ye sunkar arjun ji boole ke karn to hm sabse balwaan hai aur saari astr aur sastr kya vidwan hai ...ham use kaise hraa paenge......

tb sri krishan bhagwan boole ke karn ne jis rishi se sastroo ki siksha prapt ki hai ,,,unhone use shrap(bane) diya tha ke jb bhi karan ko is vidya ki aasli jaroorat padegi tb vo usee bhul jaega....

tb agle din jung mai arjun karan ke saamne ja ke khade ho gye aur vo karan apni saari sikhi hui vidyaa(jo ki yahan knowledge hai) bhul gaya....aur aise arjun ne karan ka vadh kar diyaa..........



to bhai aise knowledge ka fayda hi kya jo tym aane pe saath chood de....

aree bhai mujhe aachi tarah se yaad hai geeta aur mahabharat............
(apne ilake mai to hui thi) prr baat yahan karan ki hai.....


karan jo ki bahut balwaan,balshali, vidyawaan, uch koti ki rajniti jaanne wala,,daanveer tha jb vo hi tym padne parr apni vidya(knowledge) ko bhul gaya to aise knowledge ka kya fayda.....:boxing

aree use shraap se kuch nai hua tha.....usee pta tha ke shraap mila hua hai....aur yehi sooch kar uska confidence losse ho gaya.....isliyee voo maara gaya..:rock

Do not compare two attributes of success. Both are equally important at their place.

I m not taking the poll as there is no third option which says BOTH.
 
Both are important as stages varies. May be Knowledge is important to complete the work but to run in this competitive world u need to be confident enough.
I also need Both in the option to vote :)
 
knowledge is base of confidence

there can never be confidence v/s knowledge.
confidence comes through knowledge, experience and sucess. the one who dont hav knowledge and thinks himself full of confidence, is in infact overconfident.
So confidence need to have some base like knowledge, sucess and/or experience.
Moral is that confidence is superior quality than knowledge.

sir ji aap ne bilkul sahi farmaya.....:)

knowledge to hm kabhi bhi gain kar sakte hai bt confidence nahi........

aur ek baat btao agar mere pas sabhi cheezo ki knowlege ho par kahin bathak,chopal ya sabha mai baith kar mai logo ke saamne boolne sa katrau to meri knowledge ka kya fayda.......?????

and agar koi aadmi apni knowledge ko baat na sake to vo vaise hi beekar ho gaya.....

jyan to batne se hi badta hai...:)

what do u think all the invention made in history.....shows the knowledge of inventor or his confidence. He is never sure whether he will be succesfull or not.....he just apply his knowledge.

Yes he should have confidence in what he is doing but what if without knowledge......

yes ,,,bt he needs confidence ....and without confidence he won't be able to try........

haan knowledge bhi cahiye but.....

ill place confidence 1st ,,,
and knowledge second........
