Hats off

Dear Arya ji:
Please convey my best wishes to Col. Malik; he is one rare gem on jatland and stands up there alongwith Prof. Birbal Singh and youself. I think it is a good achievement for jatland forum to have facilitated this matching for the good of your village and noble ventures....
We learned basic golf at Kapur's house...hopefully we can get a better shot at other social gatherings....
Best, Anmol.

Congratualtion Ram Arya ji and Jagmohan ji.

Wish u both all the luck for such a noble cause.

Ram Arya ji if u recollect u had made some querries about JanJagrit some times back. Those have been put to task and being sorted. The registration is expected anytime now. The site has been setup by Navin Bhai; namely www.janjagriti.com . The rest of the work will be accelerated soon after registration. U have been a source of inspiration to all of us.

Regards

Dear Friends:
Col. Malik from Jatland has taken over the reins at charitable Sukh Ram Memorial Public School, Kalirawan, Hisar as of August 1 and is busy in settling-in.
I am sure all jatlanders are with me in congratulating Col Malik and wishing him the best.

Nothing like having an ex-armyman to be the Burser of an educational institution!!!
The best of luck in everything, Col. Malik!
:)

...and oh, What better time than the present to dedicate the next caricature to him........

I can see the kids staring with awe during the morning prayer assembly!!! ;)

Enjoy Col saab!!! :D

Thanks to all the jatlanders for congratulating and wishing well. Thanks for the overwhelming encouraging response. I am also thanking everyone on behalf of Col. Jagmohan Malik as he is busy at present and probably be few days more before contributing to jatland. I am hoping jatlanders will not mind his absence for a while.

He has moved into campus housing and being the first one, needs to set up quite a few things to make it livable. Setting up a new home takes some hardwork. He is in the listening and observing mode at present at the new place of work. If anybody needs to be in touch with him, please contact me and I will provide all the info. Once he settles in, I am sure he would be happy to see people visiting him at the school.

Great!!

Wondering how come I missed this..nevermind,

Our best wishes, as always, are with Jagmohan Sir, as they say:
Wisdom is knowing what to do next. Virtue is doing it! So hats off to you Sir, let us know if we can of any help.

P.S. Shail: you did a good job there..:) !!

Congratulations!!!

Poonam, you are not alone in missing the thread. As much time as I spend with Mr. Arya I am surprised that I too missed it for over a week.

Anyway, Congratulations to Col. Malik!!! We are all confident that you will do a fantastic job. Our good wishes are with you.

As for Mr. Arya……simply, there aren’t too many like him.

Col. Malikji,

Congratulations and best wishes. Only a karam yodha like you can leave the comforts of Mumbai to work for the betterment of our future generation.

many many congrats to Jaggu Uncle & Salutations to both Arya uncle & Jaggu Uncle!!

Rock on
Jit

PS - Shail bro again peace of art!

A Big Thanks to Everyone...

Respected Elders & Friends,

Thanks indeed for the kind words of encouragement & good wishes. It is never too late to join a noble cause. This mission would not have been possible without Arya Ji's vision & encouragement.

I reached Village Kalirawan on Aug 01, 2006, as promised. It dosen't take much time for a 'Fauji' to settle down in new surroundings.

It would be too early to comment on any of my experiences. However, there is no sight better than to see an uneducated grandfather escort his grandchildren to school or a daily wage earner resolving to make sure that his son continues his studies, come what may.

And then there are really very many stars in the sky. In Mumbai one could hardly see them!!!

Dear Shaiel: Thanks for the wonderful cartoon. I wish I was like that!! It is actually much smarter than me. Really touched.

My best wishes to all of you too.

Regards,

JS Malik

Malik Sahab,

I can very well imagine the pleasure and happiness one gets while working at such places. I am also back in India for good and hope to visit your school some day day soon. Unlike you, I am taking a bit extra time to settle down. I am sure you will do a great job in your new role.

regards
Rajendra
