I think, the member is being unduly targetted because he is not falling in line with the majority. I think the moderators should apply the same yardstick to each and every member irrespective of his/her political leaning. Why double standards? If you read the history of this forum you will find 95% posts absolutely unsubstantiated by any logic, statistical proof and reasoning.

Agreed, it applies to all.

As regards your findings on the issue to a large extent agreed and also it is to be added that it should be cumulative effort of all the members that logical, reasoning based and supported by statistics posts appear and if it is found contrary to this type of data then the onus of proving their statement must lie on the concerned participant. Yes, this cannot be forced rather it is hoped that this is accepted as a volunteer duty by all of us. then much of the acrimonious situations being faced by the members could be avoided.

For your kind consideration here are two minor questions to test the accuracy of your statement under reference:

On what data/information is based your statement with regard to B J P that it is comparatively most corruption-ridden and communal vis a vis other political parties ! Quote relevant study conducted on the issue please.

Secondly, could you kindly share with the members the demographic composition of the B J P members to justify the last two lines of your post under reference.

If yes, substantiate it !

Minority institutions including Jamait-e-Ulema are forcing Congress for passing the bill. Congress wants this bill to win 2014 election with 'Minority' votes.

Salient features of The Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence Bill-PCTV Bill :-

1) Based on the presumption that all 'Hindus are Criminals and Rioters', this law can be invoked only against Hindus by minorities. (the bill defines Muslims, Christians etc. as "the Minority Group" in (Sec 3.e))

2) Merely a complaint will be sufficient to file a FIR and the Hindu against whom the complaint is made, will be immediately arrested and assumed guilty UNLESS PROVEN otherwise (In normal criminal procedure, an accused is assumed innocent unless proven guilty).


3) All crimes under this Bill are Cognizable and Non-Bailable (Clause 56 of May 2011 version);

4) It can trigger a new wave of extortion by minority groups against Hindus, the majority of whom are the working and buisness class. This will have colossal repercussions for the Indian economy.

5) Section 129 states that for prosecution of offences under Sec 9 there will be no limitation of time. It means a 'Minority' can reopen all cases against Hindus, all past cases right from 1950 onwards.

6) Under Sec 42, A minority witness giving false statement before National authority CANNOT be prosecuted for giving FALSE evidence against a Hindu..

SUMMARY?

Just like Pakistan, Bangladesh or Kashmir, Hindus will be left with 3 options:

(i) Convert
(ii) Flee
(iii) Suffer entire life

So, oppose this Anti-Hindu, Anti-Bharat Bill by making all Hindus aware of its dangers and unite to fight it and remove the Anti-Hindu and Anti-Bharat party who drafted this bill or be prepared for above 3 options left for you and your children.

For eg. it chooses minorities based on relative strengths of communities in a State. This I think can create problems as relative strengths of communities varies even within a state, from district to district. So to be fair, minorities should be decided based on district level and not state level data.

I am not a Congi or whatever that means as I haven't voted for them ever but the asnwer to your question is very simple and indicates you havent read the bill. The bill aims to safeguard minorities' interest in case of riots and communal violence. Hindus are minorities in J&K. So it will benefit them.

Have you? Whether it will prove to be beneficial is anybody's guess as many well-meaning laws in our country are twisted out of their intended use. But the bill in its current form has provisions for safeguarding minority interests in every state including Hindus in J&K.
